I was there on January 20th around 4:30 pm. I placed my order with the young lady slicing the meats. I told her the 2 sandwiches I wanted. I was asked 3 different times by her what bread I wanted with the Club, and I told her. I was also asked several more times by the young man with glasses, ball hat, and bad acne, who proceeded to toss the bread roll, thinking he was so cool, which bread for the Club and Turkey. I politely told him the rosemary & parmesan goes with the turkey. White roll goes with the Club. I paid and stood and watched how they made my sandwiches. I had to tell the guy several times, he was putting my ingredients on the wrong bread. He told me I was wrong and continued making the wrong sandwich. I told him again, please listen to me and do it right, my husband does not like his Club sandwich made on the Rosemary bread. He started arguing with me again and stated that's what I told him. I think I know how I want on our sandwiches, I come on a weekly basis for the Gigantic sandwiches. I spend $35 on two. I will not be back!
Hopefully the Managers read the reviews and speak with the young man who feels he can argue with customers and continue to make Wrong sandwiches and it's all OK.
Also, to the young kid, you're tossing skills are not impressive at...
Read moreThis is my first time, so I am not without hope (for a cold sandwich maybe), however... With great anticipation, I ordered a GIANT (True to name... its 14 inches long and could easily feed me 3 times) #56 Big kahuna with all the fixens. At first glance, with cheese covered beef bursting out the seams, this philly is a thoroughbred! After first bite, I'd rename the Big Kahuna.. the Bigger Disappointment :( Clearly, the school of thought at Jersey Mike's is QUANTITY not QUALITY. Slimy canned mushrooms slid down my tongue like morning slugs slide down bare feet. Dry and tasteless, and without quality. The only surprise I found in this sub, was a long hair sandwiched between cheap cheese and even cheaper meat. Though, not all was bad here at Jersey Mikes. The staff was surprisingly up beat and friendly, reminiscent of a want to be Dutch Bros. It may even be enough to distract its patrons from the sub par subs. Let's hope so anyway, because without it, the future is looking pretty bleak for Jersey Mikes. #FilthyPhilly #BiggerIsNotBetter #FakeFungi #JerseyMikesVirgin...
Read moreFirst time here never ate Jersey Mike's before totally disappointed. Spent 15 minutes looking at the reviews and decided to go in anyways. Ordered the Big kahuna and the guy making it reached for the salt shaker and I said no salt and he turned around and looked at me with it in his hand and put salt on it. I hollered at him four more times and said no salt and he just kept putting salt on it. I finally raised my voice and he turned around and looked at me and I asked him what was in the Shaker and he said salt and I told him I said no salt and he said when did you tell me that. And turned around and kept making it. Finally I said if you can't listen then I'm going to leave. That's when he asked me if he wanted him to remake it and I told him again if you can't listen I'll leave. And he said leave. Rude argumentative and don't listen to the customer. I'll just go to Arby's to get me a roast...
