Terrible customer service!! I received an email for my birthday for a free cookie from Subway. A few weeks later I realized it was the last day to redeem it, so I went to this Subway to redeem. First, the employee asked if that day was my birthday and I said no, but the coupon expired that day. He then told me I had to make a purchase in order to redeem the cookie. I told him it did not say that on the coupon. I pulled up the coupon on my phone and showed it to him. He even read the fine print out loud. No where did it say a purchase is required, but he still insisted that I had to make a purchase. If that was the case, what was the point of asking if that day was my birthday? Showed up 20mins before closing. The lady on duty was training a gentleman. They were both very nice and pleasant. Although they had already cleaned the food prep area. They didn't show one sign of attitude that you sometimes get from other food service places when it's almost closing and employees want to go home. Wonderful...
