Today 6/10/2022 approx 9:15pm my mother, daughter and two siblings came for a late bite. I waited 15mins in the front to have my order taken. Once we got our order it was cold, the meat was not fully cooked, and we were missing a kids meal, a side fry and all 3 of our frostys. I stood at the register for 20mins. A young couple was in front of me they placed their order only to be told that they could not take their cash. The employee told her he would give her the food & he pocketed the cash. He also gave a kids meal for free to someone someone who walked into the dinning room after hours. I heard the manager say he quit and walked away for a bit only to come back. It was like pulling teeth to simply ask for spoons for my frosty, ketchup ( I got 2 packs for a $33 order). I asked for ghost pepper sauce and only got one. My daughter wanted a caryon toy that is in the kids meal. I asked if I could buy one only to be scolded by the same employee who pocketed cash and gave another person a free kids meal. He told me can't you see we are busy and walked away. I told him well at least I paid for my food. He left. There was no one in the fry area, no one at the grill. We left right away and there was a large line of cars. An employee was out there talking to each car and then they all started backing away backwards. I'm sure they were told to leave. The food was disgusting, I did not eat it. I would highly suggest to get better employees. FRAKLY I'm tiered of the disrespect by people who do not like their jobs but want to get paid and not work. I always treat people with respect no matter who. Read moreI am in regards to the service over all of this Wendy’s!! My wife and I have frequent this Wendy’s a few times and each time the experience with the customer service was par at best. I called up to provide honest feedback to the manager, Antoine and was told by him that he was very sorry and this is not a standard that he would except and would be speaking to his staff. He also asked me to give them an opportunity for them to make up for my bad experience although I was reluctant and not looking for any favors I did take them up on his offer to receive a free meal. So my wife and I gave a 2nd chance for the Battle Ground Wendy’s the prove themselves. So my wife and I went there ordered two combo meals when I went to the cash out I did what I was told to do mention the managers name but when I did that I was told I am a system manager that I was not on the list to receive those meals. I explain the situation and again she also stated again she would not be able to honor her. although she was friendly and apologetic I felt the customer service once again was lacking severely and told her it’s sad that the food was going to go to waste. I was not looking for anything free I simply was trying to take up the offer that was presented to us. The staff continued to take orders for the next 15 minutes! Finally when the line was gone. The person manning the register just stood there. I asked him " who's going to make our Frostys?" He pointed over his shoulder and said they will. He then glanced over his shoulder to see no one was supporting him. He was on his own. He quickly made our Frostys. Something we had come into the store 30 minutes ago to get. Perhaps this was an isolated event. Maybe the Manager called in sick or was on an hour break. Or maybe, just maybe we need to pay these people better. If they all made good money they would perform to a higher standard. If they didn't, they would be replaced by someone eager to take their place. When I was younger I would have been upset. Perhaps I would have asked to speak with the manager. Now I know that without being paid a living wage, 90% of people who take a job at a fast food restaurant have no incentive to perform at a high level. We can do better America.
