On Saturday night, my friends and I were out celebrating life. We were not drunk and each had one drink and one shot at the bar at 8 pm on a Saturday after eating dinner near by. There was barely anyone in the bar at this time and we took to the EMPTY floor to dance. One of us got up on the empty stage with no equipment, no signs and generally more of a platform as it was 1 step above the ground level. She was there for MAYBE 60 seconds before an employee motioned for her to get off. She respectfully and quickly got off the stage, no problem. The employee then went out of his way to hit her as a way to say "don't do this". This is the definition of assault. When we approached a bartender (Johnny) to get darts, the employee asked us very rudely if we were going to behave ourselves and that "if we ever got on the f** stage again, he was going to call the cops". We spent money at this bar, danced on the dance floor where no other patrons were and respectfully did what they asked us to. There was NO reason to speak to any customers this way, threaten us and have an employee assault one of us. I will never go back to this establishment again and I highly recommend you take your money elsewhere considering I am reading multiple instances of employees touching customers. The hostility we encountered at this bar was uncalled for and...
Read moreI have never been so disrespected in my entire life. We went there for my friends 22nd birthday on a Wednesday as connoleys is typically very fun during the weekend. However we were refused service and the bartender told my guy friend that if he wanted to get served he'd have to wait at the end of the bar and that his "girls would have to back off". I informed him that we were celebrating his 22nd birthday and that we were all far over age and that his "little girls" comment was offensive because I intended on buying his shot. This short brunette bartender with glasses stomped away and refused to serve us. The bouncer quickly reckognised the mistake and got us all shots. He apologized for the managed. MANAGER?! I was appalled. He the continued to pick fights with the remainder of our 15 person group claiming that connoleys wa founded in 1996 and that we don't belong. I am one of the youngest and was born in 1994 so I am not sure where his math degree is from. Nevertheless, we all left. Connoleys is usually fun and the bartenders and bouncers are very respectful but this guy needs...
Read moreWorst experience ever! My friends and I ordered shots and a few other friends came over so we asked for a few more. Bartender was aggressive and rude for no reason. Then we wanted to order a beer and white claws and he FREAKED OUT saying that we were entitled and had a bad attitude for asking because he had to serve other people. Meanwhile, there were at least 2 other bartenders working and we waited more than 10 minutes to be served from the get go. He then proceeded to come around the bar, begin berating my friends and I, and sent a security guard to KICK US OUT. Never has this ever happened to me or my friends. Will never go to an establishment that treats their patrons in such a disrespectful way. Thanks Connellys for giving us a story to tell our friends, and for making sure to spread the word to never come to this...
