After hearing great things about this restaurant for over a year, our family finally got a chance to visit yesterday. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. The music was WAY too loud and we could barely hear each other. The co-ed bathroom doors are somewhat see through, which is startling and uncomfortable. I felt embarrassed to take my daughters to the bathroom not knowing if there was someone maliciously trying to peek in or not on the other side of the door (I know, paranoid perhaps… but you never know these days). The kids menu items cost almost as much as the adult items (which is just silly since the portions are much smaller, and my 2 and 5 year old honestly don’t eat very much) so I just ordered one adult sized chicken tenders platter (with the hot honey on the side) for my girls to share. After waiting what seemed like a good while for the food, their tenders came out burnt, and the side of hot honey was just a hot sauce that tasted like Texas Pete. My mother and I tried a bite of the tenders to make sure we weren’t just imagining things, and sure enough, they tasted burnt and almost like the oil needed to be changed. We asked for them to replace the tenders, and they took the whole platter back, brought more tenders (which looked about the same), but got rid of my girls fries and didn’t replace them... We had waited so long I didn’t want to say anything else. Then, we saw the table next to us order a lot of milkshakes. Thinking they looked tasty, we asked our waitress if we could possibly order just one for our table to share to try it (due to health reasons we can’t have a lot of sugar, and just wanted to taste it). The waitress informed us that would be fine but we’d only get one of the decorative ice cream drumsticks, which we totally understood and wouldn’t have expected otherwise. After waiting about 20+ minutes for the single milkshake to arrive, with no other visit from our waitress so we could ask about its status and why it was taking so long, it finally arrived, but without the ice cream cone. We had to wave her down to ask for the cone! On top of all this, I asked for a well done burger, and it still had pink inside, and my mother had to ask other employees to have our waitress come back to our table. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. I didn’t leave only 1 star and gave 2 stars across the board because they did at least bring what we ordered, even if it wasn’t great quality, and because the atmosphere looks pretty. I do not think I will be returning, which is...

Had always walked by this place and knew they were known for their crazy shakes and “amazing” food but our excitement quickly dwindled as soon as we were seated. Initially, we thought service was going to be great. We were greeted by three different servers once we got sat and they brought us our waters. Since we had never been here before we didn’t realize that fries didn’t just come with our meals and later had to find out when our plates came out with these small burgers. I feel like the server could have mentioned that or asked but she didn’t. We waited for a while for our food which is understandable but the service was where I had the biggest issue. All the servers and bus boys were behind the counter flirting with each other the majority of the time we were there. I had asked for napkins a couple different times and never got them so I had to just get up and grab them myself. Our drinks didn’t get refilled cause our server not once even bothered to look at our table other than when it came time to put down the check. We decided we wanted to order a milkshake while we waited on our meal and it was extremely difficult to get the attention of any of the staff there. They made zero eye contact with any of the patrons and there were several tables all around us who also did not get checked on by any of the staff. After we finally ordered our milkshake, we finished our meal before it even got to us. Multiple servers were walking around with milkshakes after we had already been sitting there for 20 minutes waiting for ours. Our server finally puts down her milkshake and came over to us to ask if we had ever gotten our milkshake to which we told her no. She walks over there and our milkshake is just magically made after 5 minutes. The food was pretty great, the bun on that burger was probably the softest and delicious I’d ever had. Maybe if all the staff would stop poking and prodding at each other their entire shifts, the service would be better because they’d actually be...

If I could give zero stars, I truly would. It began with a 30 minute wait when many tables were already empty. After waiting 40 minutes, we were finally seated. Then, we waited an additional 30 minutes before the waiter even registered we were sitting there. The waiter clearly had no idea what they were doing and came back on more than one occasion asking us to clarify what we ordered (everything we ordered was on the menu, nothing complex). We waited 40+ minutes for milkshakes. The rest of the food was mediocre at best. Wait staff and managers kept claiming they were understaffed and unprepared, but this was Labor Day weekend (they likely knew it would be busy) and we saw waiters standing in the back texting and goofing off. If the waiters spent less time goofing off and more time paying attention to when food was actually ready, this place could be good! Don’t waste your time here, because we certainly did.

UPDATE: we ended up never receiving milkshakes. We asked our waiter on more than one occasion and then manager and they said they were working on it. After waiting an hour we just asked for the check and for the milkshakes to be removed. We did order drinks with alcohol, and our waiter never asked for our ID. Then, a worker, who was not our waiter, came over and asked to see IDs. When we told him we asked for our drinks to be removed so we could just pay and go, he said he didn’t care and needed to see IDs and was being very rude about it. We understand this is their job, but half the restaurant seemed to be complaining about poor service, and so for this random employee to come over and demand IDs for drinks that they couldn’t even get anyone to make seemed unnecessary. The manager (I’m assuming who this person was) was great though. She was very apologetic of the whole situation, and gave us our meal for free and...

Grill Marks in Downtown Greenville really hits the spot 🤤 The vibe here is just amazing, perfect for hanging out with friends or grabbing a bite after a stroll. Las papas con trufa y parmesano… otro nivel 😍 Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, totally irresistible. The place just has that downtown magic ✨ ¡Riquísimo, definitely coming back soon! 😋 @GrillMarksGreenville #GreenvilleEats #FoodieTikTok #LocalRestaurants #GreenvilleSC #FoodieVibes
