I recently had the pleasure of visiting Neat Bourbon Bar, and I can confidently say that it exceeded my expectations. With excellent service and a menu full of creative and delicious cocktails, this establishment is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a well-crafted drink in a unique and fun atmosphere.
From the moment I entered Neat Bourbon Bar, the welcoming staff set a friendly and relaxed tone for the evening. The service was attentive without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance between helpfulness and discretion. The servers were knowledgeable about the extensive menu and were able to provide insightful recommendations based on my preferences.
One of the standout features of Neat Bourbon Bar was its captivating atmosphere. The bar is situated underground, giving it a distinct and intriguing vibe. The industrial design elements added a sense of authenticity and character to the space, making it both cozy and trendy. This unique setting contributed to the overall enjoyment of the evening and elevated the experience beyond just a simple night out.
The true highlight of Neat Bourbon Bar, however, was the array of creative and delicious cocktails on offer. Each drink I tried was expertly crafted and presented, with a unique blend of flavors that showcased the talents of the skilled bartenders. The attention to detail in each cocktail was evident, from the innovative use of ingredients to the elegant garnishes that adorned each glass.
One cocktail that particularly caught my attention was their New York Cherry Sour, which featured a delightful floater of Malbec. This creative touch added depth and complexity to the drink, making it a memorable and enjoyable experience. It was just one example of the imaginative concoctions available at Neat Bourbon Bar.

Read moreMy wife and I came here as part of a short visit to Greenville as we may be moving here for work. We wanted to sample things from around the area, and although Greenville is fantastic, this place was the highlight of my trip! Knew it was gonna be special as soon as we came down the stairs to the nice chilled basement, checking out the epic theming and smelling all the good bourbon around us. Then we were greeted right away by the super friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The gentleman there that may be the owner/manager is especially knowledgeable with bourbon and blew us away. Wish I could remember his name which started with a T! These folks were on point and joggling a million things at once, and they always stopped to answer all our questions in detail. The bourbon itself was wonderful, especially the Woodford Masters. I was also blown away by the Russel's single barrel which I had not been able to find anywhere else. I must also add a final pleasant experience. We ordered some Mac and cheese that was missing the bourbon/bacon we think, but it was no sweat at all and we kindly notified the staff. They went above and beyond removing the Mac and cheese, and let us have one bourbon for free instead which was totally not expected but immensely appreciated. All in all this was probably my favorite whiskey bar ever. Can't say enough, and if we end up moving to the area this will be a regular place for us...
Read moreWe are visiting Greenville from CHS for a quick weekend getaway and saw the great reviews for Neat Bourbon Bar. The bar is downstairs and when we walked in we noticed the floors were extremely sticky and there was very musty smell. We figured the smell may have been from the rain and weather so we sat at the bar and ordered the charcuterie and each had a drink. When we were almost finished eating, we noticed a roach crawling right next to us on the bar. As soon as we saw the first roach, the was another right beside it. They were crawling on the bar next to our plate and under the bar mat. We didn’t want to cause a scene (as the bar was crowded), so we got the check and didn’t even finish the drinks. I would have to assume that if two roaches were crawling around a loud, crowded bar right next to our plate, there are probably many more. Needless to say we both left feeling disgusted and concerned that eating the food may...
