went here today with my friend and our kids and was followed around the store the entire time by the associates. we were browsing everything they had because we had never been to an anthropologie store and was so excited to look around. not once did anyone ask if we needed help but we sure were followed around like we were doing something wrong. at one point before we checked out an associate, who i assume is the manager, followed us into the corner of the store we were looking in and stood and watched us. i was highly uncomfortable and only stayed because my friend wanted to continue looking. i did end up buying a perfume but i am extremely disappointed in how the associates treated us. what was supposed to be a fun visit to a store we both liked, ended up leaving a sour taste in my mouth and i most likely won’t be back to this location. also note that we weren’t the only people with kids in the store. there was another mom with her two kids and no one was following them. i guess if you’re not buying hundreds of dollars worth of products you must be up to no good. i worked retail for years and if that’s how you “discretely” keep an eye on someone who you think is stealing do a better job....
Read moreI'm a big supporter & shopper of Anthropologie both online & at the stores. The Greenville, SC is the absolute worst experience I've ever had! So much so, I'll not shop there again. I had a few online returns to do in the store & hopefully shopping afterwards. Nope! The sales associate who waited on me, Liz, was rude, aggressive & disrespectful. When I came in she yelled put to another associate for the whole store to hear, "I have a HUGE return!". As she went through the bags I carefully repackaged with all the receipts, she threw the clothing across the cashwrap area & onto the floor. On one item she tried giving me a merchandise credit instead of crediting the credit card I used because she entered the wrong item number & told me "there was nothing she can do about it, she has to go by what the computer says." I showed her a picture of the item on my online receipt on my phone, only then did she correct it. She made my whole first experience in that store miserable. She embarrassed & humiliated me in front of all the other customers. You've been warned. I hope y'all don't get the same horrible...
Read moreA horrible company. I bought a skirt online, and they sent me the incorrect item. They have dragged their feet for over a week, and still haven’t approved a return, offered a refund or even followed up after I replied to their initial email. I would never, ever shop here again. They have horrible customer service. I just want my money back for receiving the wrong item, in a timely manner, not a week or longer after the mistake was made. The item they sent me is not even on their website and when I google search it it comes up on SHEIN and Temu websites only. What a horrible, terrible company. I will never buy anything...
