Bex Cafe & Juice Bar — Restaurant in Greenville

This is the 3rd time I've tried Bex because my office is steps away.. I've ordered a different coffee each time and all 3 have tasted the same. The seasonal flavors are barely noticeable (I've had smores and snickerdoodle) and the coffee just does not taste good. Also, my lattes have been cold 2 out of my 3 visits.

This is a side note.. There was one girl working today and she was pretty busy when I first came in. After she took my order the manager/supervisor/whoever was in charge came out of the office and YELLED that she should not stop making a drink order to take an order. Everyone in the shop stopped and looked up when the manager SO LOUDLY said this. A few moments later she told the worker that she was just trying to give her a tip.. but maybe the supervisor should've HELPED the worker during the busy time and then after the rush stopped and given her that tip? This doesn't affect the fact that I still think this coffee is bad, but I don’t like seeing poor leadership. And she embarrassed the girl.

Friendly staff,Good food Nice vibes , Excellent juice bar but the coffee was Bad and I'm not talking Michael's Jackson bad either. I mean you're better off at a gas station paying $1 Bad! Lol I really love this place though obviously. I highly recommend. I would just steer VERY CLEAR of the coffee!! Also, the juices are HIGHLY inconsistent. I got the same juice blend twice and each time it was different. Theyve switched out some of their breads on sandwiches but didn't let the customers know until its on their plates..THEY DO NOT HAVE TURKEY sausage or bacon, so don't expect to eat a hot sandwich if you don't do pig or cow!!!! How do you not offer white meat options? Lol also FYI, I paid $16 plus tax on 2 small juices!! Cra,Crazy, right?! But,I have frequented this place to support Locally owned business. The prices are a bit high, but I do like the turkey cranberry sandwich. I unfortunately can't recommend the drinks because you just never know if it'll be good or not. Someday good, others horrible! I will rate this a 3.5. Its not the worst but...

I enjoyed my time here and the coffee drink was delicious. My only suggestion would be to change your hours if closing early is a regular thing. Several people came in during my time here surprised that it was still open. One even stated the hours from the website and the worker told him closing early when business is slow is pretty common. Having unknown hours is not great for business as people will get frustrated if they stop by during those hours to find that you're closed. In fact, it's about ten to 4pm and I was just told that I need to pack up as he is closing at 4pm and was told to by the manager because business has been slow today. I was going to go with 4 stars until he told me that. How disappointing that the business will not stay open for the full time while 2 paying...
