I was looking for a great bagel spot close by, and I’m glad I stumbled across this hidden gem. It was a little hard to find because of construction on the other side of the street, where Google Maps left me. For reference, they're across from where Planet Pizza used to be if you know this area of Greenwich, CT. I went inside, and although no one was there since they were getting ready to close soon, it made sense. The space inside was ample and had an old-time vibe. It felt like you had been transported back in time, which added to the charm. It's a family-owned bagel place, literally with the mom and son working. I had an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and a toasted jalapeƱo cheddar bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese. The food was prepared quickly, and the cooked parts of my order were done promptly as well. The jalapeƱo cheddar BEC was huge, enough to feed two people honestly. Both bagels were amazing, especially the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, which completely exceeded my expectations as one of the other reviewers mentioned. Being from New York, I know a thing or two about a good bagel, and these were really good. Great ingredients, freshly made, and the scallion cream cheese was very flavorful. The jalapeƱo cheddar bagel had a great sharp cheese flavor, with a crunch and kick added from the jalapeƱos. I highly, highly recommend Britt & Co. Bagels and will be back most definitely. A few important notes: parking can be a bit of an issue around rush hour, lunch, and some weekends. There is metered parking too. Also, Britt & Co. Bagels doesn’t have posted hours; they work based on how busy it is. When I called, that was what was explained to me. So, try to call ahead before going.

I absolutely love these bagels and so do all my coworkers! Britt and her family are fantastic and their shop is adorable and so charming! This business is more of what is needed in life today. You walk into a familiar face who genuinely cares about how your day is going and is hoping to make it better. Britt's bagels are amazing, I went in to pick up bagels for work (me being silly couldn't figure out how to pre-order all you have to do is text so I'm silly for that). They have flexible opening hours and I was more than okay to wait (my coworkers really love these bagels) I was excited to try them and I was not disappointed 😊 the basil tomatoe mozzarella bagels were over the moon! Britt's husband explained how Britt does everything from designing the shop, to building the tables, to hand making every bagel (wow) and he helped me pick out a wonderful selection that pleased everyone at work. Her son rang me out and was so sweet he is such a hard worker for such a young man! I placed a order for pick-up and Britt was lovely and messaged me that she apologized she didn't have all the bagels on the speciality menu (no apologizes necessary) we were over the moon by our bagels and will be doing a monthly bagel day 😁😁 Thank-you so much for such an over the moon experience you guys are simply fantastic! We appreciate all your hard work and dedication!

Stepping into Britt & Co Bagels is like hopping into a time machine straight to the 1950s! The nostalgic ambiance, with retro dƩcor and vintage tunes playing softly in the background, instantly transports you back in time. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by the friendliest and most helpful staff, Lou Lou and Aiden, I've ever encountered. Their warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm set the stage for a truly delightful experience. Now, let's talk about the bagels. Oh my, the bagel sandwich I had was, without a doubt, the best of my life! The Cheddar Jalepeno Grand Stand Sandwich was Freshly baked with a perfect chew, loaded with delicious fillings that made every bite a heavenly moment. If you're looking for a retro escape and the best bagel sandwiches in Fairfield county bagel, Britt & Co Bagels is your go-to place!

Phenomenal bagels and a beautiful family owned/operated business…but there’s more!!!

While I can count the # of reviews I’ve publicly shared on the internet on one hand, I certainly maintain (and share) strong opinions privately on the products and services I value. Britt & Co. is a new local business in the community that I value and highly recommend.

Yet, I share this review for a different and more important reason (people that know me, already know of the excellent bagels crafted @Britt & Co., because I don’t shut up about it…). (Disclaimer: I have no equity in, nor relationship to the business or its owners…(although I would be interested in equity;).

The ā€œbut there’s more!!!ā€ā€¦is the Young Man with glasses who usually works there deserves a compliment and earned my respect (based on my observations he must be the son of ā€œBrittā€, but please correct me if I’m wrong (or if anyone is still reading, because I have a point;).

While this individual can’t be more than 15 or so years old, I say Young Man, and not boy, intentionally. On a recent Saturday morning, I observed how mature and kind this Young Man conducted himself despite a ā€œsaltyā€ and unsavory ā€œadult man’sā€ behavior (the ā€œadultā€ must have been close to 3 times his age).

In an attempt to be brief, I’ll spare the details, but in short, the ā€œadult manā€ behaved like a petulant child and this Young Man handled the situation with humility and grace.

Although it is easy to get caught up in the fast-paced culture of instant gratification and convenience, society and us as individuals would all greatly benefit by acting in a more humble and graceful manner on a daily basis.

So THANK YOU Young Man (and to whomever your parents are for how they are raising you!) for being an example (and reminder) of what humility and Grace looks like!

Keep it up (despite the unsavory individuals!) and I look forward to your presence when the retail shop opens again…until then I’m going to figure out the ā€œorder in advanceā€ so I don’t miss out on the...

Easily the most creative bagel shop I’ve ever experienced. From the rotating menu of classic and unique stuffed bagels plus sandwiches, it’s really hard to go wrong. Oh and being open for 24 hours for pickup orders before major holidays (so far) is unheard of.

Everyone bashing this place seems to not understand that despite being posted in many places, the store is effectively a pop up shop with varying hours and inventory levels due to the large online order business they operate. Due to a recent celebrity endorsement, popularity has exploded exponentially faster than expected I imagine. Instead of complaining about the wait time of this true family run business (Britt’s son runs the counter when available), maybe look around the shop and appreciate the attention to detail given to the decor. You’d notice the tables look like poppyseed bagels. You’d see historic photos and articles, a retro fridge, rotary phone, and bagel table games. Or go totally old fashion and have a conversation with others in line.

Bottom line is the product here is as fantastic as it is unique. Let’s focus on that instead of the front of house of a place that’s barely been open a few months, I’m confident they’ll work out any issues. Until then, you’ll know to follow their social media for store hours and inventory and that calling in an order in advance will reduce...
