Wow, very pleasantly surprised coming here. I've always walked by because it doesn't seem like much from the outside, but I decided to visit after reading the below reviews and I must agree this place is excellent. Came here with my friend - she had the chicken kebab and I ordered the corned beef reuben which were recommended by the young guy serving us (owners son?). My reuben was EXCELLENT - just as good as some of the best NYC delis. My partners kebab was also delicious, but she could not finish because it was so large (came with salad, rice, pita bread and some reallly good tzatziki sauce). I used to really enjoy going to the plaza. Their pizza is actually great and most of the foods I have had are always delicious. I work nearby so it’s convenient are prices are decent for Greenwich. However, sometimes the service is extremely slow. I could wait a few minutes before even being noticed after waiting to pick up an order. Also a few times that I have ordered a quesadilla which comes with sour cream and salsa, I have gotten moldy salsa with mold all around the edge of container and rancid sour cream....please check pre-made condiments! Best in town! Only giving it five stars is an under statement, Plaze one of the best spots in Greenwich for breakfast and lunch. Family owned and operated, Plaza has fabulous omelets and fluffy pancakes! For lunch you won’t be disappointed in their unique sandwich options - the Carnegie and the steak Italiano are my personal favorites.
