We were excited to enjoy a night out with out the kids and have a nice dinner. We love the ambiance of Harvest and thought it would be a perfect date night. We were there for an early dinner so it wasn't very busy, however people were seated directly next to us on both sides within 20 mins. And I mean RIGHT next to us. That was disappointing but figured oh well. Try to ignore. We ordered a DELICIOUS fig special that I wish would always be on the menu. So yummy. We ordered dinner and I ordered a pasta dish. Before our meals came out, our half eaten bread was taken away so I had to ask for more, as I was planning to dip the bread into the sauce. My husband got the duck and it was VERY raw. We asked for Medium. We had to send it back and wait 10 minutes for it, which is fine. It happens. We found the duck severly under seasoned. I told my husband to ask for salt but at this point it felt like a comedy of errors (other than the amazing fig). After we finally ate we were immediately handed the check, with zero offer of coffee, tea or dessert. We felt like we were being kicked out of the restaurant. We would've easily spent another $30 on post dinner items that the restaurant lost out on thanks to our server. We still tipped 20% because I refuse to short the hostess/bussers/bartenders due to the waiters issues. I know you want to turn over tables.. but this was bizzare. Im hoping someone from the restaurant will read this and educate the waiters on our experience. We will not return which is disappointing but we saw a lot of potential.

We came in for an early dinner and were greeted warmly, then seated outside. The atmosphere was nice, and our server made sure we had drinks right away. Everything started off great, and the appetizers were absolutely delicious—flavorful and well-prepared. Unfortunately, dinner did not go as smoothly. I ordered the skirt steak medium rare, but it came out well done. We kindly sent it back, and my wife waited so we could eat together, letting her food sit and get cold. When my steak came out the second time, it was once again overcooked—this time even more well done than before. At that point, I asked for the check, had my wife’s food packed to go, and we left. It was disappointing because the meal started on such a high note with great service and appetizers, but ended on a sour note with repeated mistakes on the main dish. I really wanted to enjoy this place, but based on our experience, I’m not sure I could recommend it.

Worth every penny. The music was on fire. Any place that is playing Odesza while I eat has already won in my book. We ate outside and were surrounded by other happy, socially-distanced tables. The cocktails were perfect for a warm summer evening. My bf got the maple old fashioned and loved it (he is very snobby about his OFs). I trusted the waiter and got the signature Scorpion. If you like spicy, get it! My bf said the charred octopus was of the best he’s ever had. He also had a Caesar salad with the shrimp and he scarfed it down. But the highlight of it all was the Brussels sprout salad. My mouth exploded on that first bite and I’m pretty sure my bf had to pull me back from licking the plate. Might need to go back for it again tomorrow. Above all else, the service was incredibly kind and attentive. Thanks for the great experience!

Been served rotten or incorrectly prepared food too many times. When harvest opened it was great because it was farm to table concept and the food was fresh. No longer! In the past 6 months I have been served rotten seafood twice. And every time that we've ordered steak they have not cooked it the way we have wanted. Which has meant that people at our table have to sit without anything to eat while the rest of the table has their food. Two out of the three times that they've improperly cooked the food it still did not come out of the kitchen to the specification for which it had been originally ordered.

The final straw is at the last time we were there their signature brussel sprout salad was dry and not fresh tasting . It had the kind of rotten brussel sprout taste instead of the fresh beautiful crunchy taste with truffle oil in it. There were also stingy on the truffle oil you couldn't taste it at all. It was like eating something out of a compost bin- just awful.

The appetizers have gone downhill. The calamari is soggy and the meatballs lack flavor and the flavor they do have is that of meat that has sat around for too long and then was used for making meatballs.

Then there's the issue of the staff being inappropriate. Some of the male waiters are a little too cheeky and aggressive towards attractive women. Then they speak ill of the same woman to her male partner saying that they don't want to serve her because she's returned food. (this lady is extremely kind to everyone she speaks to, and has never asked for anything off the tab) What they fail to say is that she returned food and asked for it to be recooked as it was served raw. It's disrespectful and vengeful behavior on the part of the wait staff in response to a woman who is nothing short of angelic to everyone she speaks to, to attempt to humiliate her in front of her partner.

Ladies do not bring your date to this place because you are risking your reputation by doing so. If you were served raw seafood, or spoiled meat you will be treated like the garbage from which they source their produce.

Gentlemen do not bring your ladies there if you don't want them getting hit on by the waiters when they go to the...

I was visiting from Palm Beach and stayed in Greenwich for 3 weeks. Dined at many fabulous restaurants to return to in future. Harvest wine bar & restaurant is the only restaurant in Greenwich that I would not come back to. We had a 630 reservation for 2 on July 17. Our server was incredibly rude and argumentative. We wanted 5-6 appetizers but as our table was small, we ordered them in pairs. He couldn’t keep it straight as to which 2 appetizers to bring out first. I told him we’d order 2 at a time but he insisted we give him all 6 and just tell him the order in which we wanted them served but after 3 failed attempts and him being continually confused, he reluctantly agreed to do 2 at a time. It was stressful from the outset. The salad was the only item we asked to split and his response was “it depends on how busy the chef is”. It was immediately obvious from his attitude that we wouldn’t be getting a split salad late. I have yet to dine at a restaurant at this price level that can’t even split the salad plate. Later, I ordered a 5th appetizer when he stopped by our table to clear out some items. He forgot and came by 15 minutes later asking if we were done. I reminder him if our pending order for the salmon tartare. He aggressively argued that I never told him to order the salmon tartare. When I pointed out to him that he forgot we ordered it, he argued that I placed the order with another server. Of course he was the only server who waited on us the entire time. He was arrogant, in denial of his mistakes and insisted on the blaming the customer. I later heard him arguing with another couple who got up and moved and then saw him arguing with a female server. This guy is overconfident without the ability to deliver, rude and very unprofessional. If the chef is so unaccomodating and inflexible as to refuse to split the salad plate, it’s no surprise that such an attitude trickles down to the other help including the servers. I left completely disgusted due to the lack of respect, professionalism and basic courtesies that are normally extended to...

Let me first say this….for me to give a review. My experience has to be amazing or horrendous. And thanks to Valentina our server, my Harvest experience was Amazing. The place is simply great. Early Saturday evening….the place was already packed. We had no reservation but were fortunate enough to grab an outside table. We ordered drinks and within a few minutes, my girlfriend regretted her drink decision and wished she ordered wine instead. I got up and walked inside. I didn’t see our waitress Valentina so I proceeded to the bar (which was packed). A guy who looked like a manager (not behind the bar) asked if everything was ok….I explained to him, if our drinks weren’t already made, I’d like to change one. He said he will see and in five minutes came to our table with my girlfriend’s wine and my Kettle One with club soda. After we ordered our food (entrees and appetizers) my girlfriend started regretting her decision as well. (Please note my girlfriend rarely ever does this) but she stressed to me that she’s been having fish everyday and wish she ordered the chicken instead of the fish. Somehow someway Valentina must’ve of read our lips or body language and came over….she asked how everything was so far as we had muscles for appetizer. I said great and I’d like to add an entree to our order (it was a good twenty minutes after our order was taken, I would never dream of trying to change it) Valentina said would you like the chicken instead of the fish? She assured us it wasn’t an issue and the kitchen has yet to fire it up ( I don’t believe that was the case but kudos to a great waitress). We gladly changed the order. The rest of the way I started noticing how attentive Valentina was. Always looking at my glass and always sending over the girl to refill my water. It was very noticeable and extremely impressive. Great food…amazing staff. I...
