Topsail — Restaurant in Hampton

I am a local and live in this area, and I had a chance to dine here the other night. They have a small menu, but that doesn't bother me at all because I feel like restaurants that have a smaller menu are able to focus on cooking those items well, and probably mostly from scratch, verses a giant menu with 50 items on it. I had the crab cake dinner, and I have to say, they were some of the best crab cakes I have had in Hampton. They had an abundance of real crab meat, not overbreaded and fried just right. The mashed potatoes were great as well as the broccoli. The price was set about right for a 2 crab cake dinner, although they did "auto-gruity", which i though was odd for just one diner. No matter, service was good and the food was good. I was there on a quiet weeknight so it was quick as well. There must of been a employee issue for breakfast, it opened late and no menu only buffet. The buffet is your typical Hilton items, powdered scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy.
