So I’ve had my hot tea spilled on me and now my bf and myself again all because the baristas are not putting the lids on correctly. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me, within a few weeks. I don’t understand, you’re handing them to us through the drive through, how they aren’t getting their hands burned. This last time it gets handed to us and while in the girl’s hands, you can see the lid is not secure, my bf goes to grab it, then scalding hot tea water pours down their hand to which they says, “Awe, Damn!” And the girl simply says, “oh soorry, here’s some napkins.” Girl we needed ice after that, not napkins. Then my bf tries to give it to me to help and I’m trying to gently grab it and fix the lid, to which it starts pouring all over my hand. We both now have literal burn marks, and the barista sees that all transpire. It was wild. And now I’m sitting here in my car afraid to touch my tea. So not only did we both get burned, I’m not even going to drink that tea because I’m terrified!!
Solution: Check the lids!!! Make sure they are secure!!!

The male barista who was working practically yelled at me that they were out of the Dragonfruit refresher, and even threw in a snide comment, “All locations are out.” Like I’m supposed to know that. I ordered another drink instead and he immediately just told me my total, didn’t even ask if I was ordering anything else. Had planned on ordering food but instead went across to Dunkin Donuts for a bagel, after the female barista at the window handed me a watered down Cascara Cold Brew. Never said hi, thank you, nothing. I made sure to say very loudly “Thank you! Have a nice day” and was given attitude back. I’ve worked in customer service for 13 years and there’s no excuse.
