If I could give less than one star, I would. My friend was at my house and ordered pizza over the phone for delivery. She paid with my card over the phone and we waited for our pizza. When it arrived, I tipped the driver in cash, did not sign a receipt and was not given one. A few days later, I was checking my account and noticed that I was charged 86.17 for the pizza. We had ordered 2 large pizzas and breadsticks so I knew that was not correct!
I called back 3 separate times to get this issue resolved. The first time, I was told the manager on shift could not help me with my issue and that I needed to call back the next day between 8 and 12 to speak to the store manager. I called back the next day, he was not there. The employee I talked to apparently called him and informed me that he would be in the next day and to call back at 9 with my bank statement handy to discuss the issue. I called back at 9 the next day and GUESS WHAT? The store manager had apparently called in sick. THANKFULLY I spoke with another supervisor, Terry, who was very helpful. He took down my information and looked into the issue. He called me back in a timely manner and informed me that the overcharge was a TIP ADJUSTMENT of $24! WHO ON EARTH TIPS 24 dollars for pizza?!?!?! He also told my husband that the way it was charged, it was added on by the person who took the order as a tip over the phone, not a tip after the fact on the receipt. Terry gave us a refund of $24 for the tip adjustment, but either way that is some SHADY STUFF going down. I was with my friend the whole time she was on the phone, she NEVER gave a tip over the phone. Round table, you should look into how your employees handle things, because that is not right. Now, you're out $24 and your employees walked away...
Read moreLess then one star. My daughter came to me saying that she dropped 2 quarters on the floor and they rolled under one of the larger arcade games. I told the young lady at the front counter and she expressed that she could not give me 2 quarters because it would make her draw short. I asked her to talk to the manager and was wondering why she thought I should be concerned about the balance of her drawer. I gave her about 15min. And walked up to the counter. I expected to get 2 quarters from her however, she told me that her manager said that because the quarters here not lost due to being put in a game and not working she would not be able to give me two quarters and again told me that it would make her drawer short, I said, are you saying that you do not believe me? And she said no, it's not that, and again repeated herself. I said, so your saying that 50cents is to much to give, when you are not out that money anyway, in order to have a happy guest and not get a really bad review? She just looked at me like I was crazy and my 9 year old told me, "it's ok Daddy and she gave her other quarter to a kid that needed one more. I was really angry at them but wanted to show my children that you can express yourself in a civilized way...
Read moreAfter working for round table for a short time I have a different level of appreciation for this pizza chain. At this location one of the shift leads was overwhelmed by the lunch rush but was still friendly and her customer service was exceptional. The pizza is always good at round table. My one concern was the crust.. it was too thin and because of that it was slightly burnt. From my experience, customers always like the dough a little thicker and fluffier. Dough Skins for all sizes have to be a certain weight. I always made the skins at the higher weight without going over so the crust would be thicker. I always had customers happy with a thicker crust. Managers don't like it, but customer satisfaction should supercede. I digress, make the skins thicker but still at weight, the ovens will still cook the dough all the way through. This location is modern and the seating is very comfortable. No complaints on the atmosphere whatsoever! The beer selection is blah and should be rotated with newer and up to date beer trends. In closing, this location is well run but slightly understaffed during busy times. I will definitely be getting my fix often here now that fatte alberts is closed for good in...
