On April 24 2019 I dropped my phone and the screen went black I felt helpless. Like most, I no longer memorize phone numbers because they are at the touch of a finger on my phone. I had recently lost my driver's licence but was in the process of getting the "real ID" so I had so many documents proving my identity as well as an old driver's licence. I went to the Verizon my Costco to get a new phone. I was asked for my PIN which I gave. Then asked for a valid driver's licence. When I told the girl I only had a temporary paper licence but had an old licence, (which is what the DMV said to use with my temporary),SS card and state of California employee picture ID card, she shut me down! saying, she could not help without a valid driver's license. She said it was for my security. I replied I thought that's what my PIN was for. I now felt even more helpless because it would be another week or 2 before my official licence was due to come in the mail. After 28 years with Verizon I was ready to drop them. But decided instead to try this Verizon store first. When I walked in I immediately asked the young lady behind the counter for the manager. I was told he was on his way back from the other store.while I waited I watch this girl providing excellent customer service to 2 other customers in the store and one on the phone. I began to tell my story from the other store. She couldn't understand why I wasn't helped. By the time the manager got there I didn't feel the need to talk to him anymore, because Lucky for me I met Maria Avila. She was the young lady behind the counter. She was so knowledgeable and helpful! She totally made up for the horrible experience at the other Verizon store and saved a customer for Verizon!!! Thanks...

I purchased JBL earbuds around July 28thish. USPS kept forwarding the package instead of delivering it (base deliveries are hit or miss sometimes). Long story short, the package was returned to a warehouse on August 15th. Per USPS, someone must not have scanned my package at Verizon warehouse; however, they have confirmation it was delivered back. Now I return to Verizon the 28th of August, and they say we will send me out a new pair. They just needed to have possession of the item. On September 6th or so, I stop by to check on the arrival of the new order. No record of anything was done. The associate was put in a difficult spot because the company isnât doing what it said.
