Chubby's Cafe Heber — Restaurant in Heber

I came in and ordered a veggie patty substitute on a burger, instead I was given a lettuce wrapped burger. My partner is vegetarian so she can’t even eat that so I had to go back in and get it fixed. When I explain the situation they took my food back confused and took it to the back. The girl came out 3mins later and asked if I meant I wanted it gluten free. I said “no a veggie substitution patty.” She took I back again came back out a little later still confused and asked if I wanted it lettuce wrapped still. I said “no a veggie patty with a normal bun.” One more time she went to the back and came back out this time with another girl and the other girl had me put the whole order in again and told me it would have to be remade. At this point we were going to be late for our movie but I sat and waiting for it to be done. Finally they brought it out and I checked it and took it home. When I got home we realized the fries weren’t even beer battered like we asked for. They also kept SCREAMING my name not just like a normal shouting it out. I feel like I was genuinely ignored and I was being treated like I was the problem, even tho I was being really nice about the whole situation. It’s just overall really frustrating, we really love Chubbys but I don’t think I’ll be going back to...

Completely mediocre food. The fries were dry and flavorless. The chicken tenders were very chewy like I was trying to eat rubber. The burgers had very off putting buns. On top of that, I’m absolutely disgusted with the political flags in this place. Never coming here again. Truly an embarrassment and jarring. If I had seen this display before I ordered, I would have walked out. The flags and pro police memorabilia were very uninviting. I’m not one to leave reviews, but boy, I am disappointed and dissatisfied with this place. Not worth what you pay and an unwelcoming environment. Spare yourself the hassle and go to any of the other restaurants...

The food was great, but service was amazing. Shelby really stood out and made my first experience notable. Although I didn’t say it, I was a bit nervous about this meal because I was traveling alone with my baby; he’s going through a screamy stage and I was worried that he would be too noisy. We came in around lunch and there was a big group at the register, so Shelby came to the counter and opened a till to take my order. She was amazing and made both of us feel welcome and comfortable the whole time. She went above and beyond, coming to check on us frequently throughout our meal. She absolutely made my day!
