We were up for Jeepfest this past weekend and Saturday night around 8:45 we went there to eat. It took the waiter 30 mins after we sat down just to get our drink order then another 30 mins we waited for him to take our food order; he took the order and we thought we would get something to eat in a reasonable time frame another hour went by and in the meantime right in front of our table a gentleman fell down the steps which caused for 911 to be there and work on him now during all this no one bothered to check on our food or say anything to us about dinner. I have a mechanical mitral valve and I have to eat after I take my medicine well I took my medicine before we left the hotel and ate 2 crackers thinking I would eat shortly. Nope then I got in an argument with the waiter because our food still hadn't arrived and told him for the second time I wanted the Manager now. The security guy ended up getting the Manager for us. We explained to him what had occurred and my boyfriend told him we were done we had enough still no food then part of the order came out after my boyfriend got involved and the pizza that was ordered by the other couple wasn't cooked properly and they even got that wrong. At this point we were really upset and the manager said he would fix the problem still no food its going on 10:30 pm. My boyfriend told the manager we wanted our ticket we wasn't putting up with this anymore; the manager got the ticket and still charged us for the 4 drinks we had. And on top of all this the blood that was on the floor right in front of our table where the guy fell down the steps stayed there for 30 mins before anyone decided to clean the floor. The manager didn't even comp the bill at all. Very upset at this restaurant for handling things so poorly and still not getting us what we ordered and it be cooked all the way through. THE WAITER TOLD ME WHEN MY HUSBAND LEFT THE TABLE THAT I SHOULD HAVE COMMUNICATED WITH HIM WHEN HE DID NOT BRING ME MY FOOD, DID NOT CHECK ON US, OR CHARGED US FOR AN ORDER WE DID NOT GET. VERY DISRESPECTFUL! My family and I started to enjoy our afternoon upstairs on the balcony. We were one of two tables to begin with and placed our order. It became apparent to us that our waiter was scattered, when he ran off without even saying a word after the last order was taken. Drinks appeared and then we did not see our waiter for awhile. Then our waiter appeared and placed food orders in front of my kids and husband. Then he ran off again and picked a plate off another table and placed my husband’s second order in front of my husband. The waiter then pointed to me as if he forgot my order and left again, never to appear. I NEVER received my order or our second drink order. My husband went to complain to the manager, who apologized. Then our waiter showed up with the bill without an apology and without saying a word and walked away. We checked the bill to discover that he charged us for my order that I did not receive. My husband left again to take the item off the bill. This is when the waiter appeared and basically blamed me for not communicating with him about the bill. I was too shocked to be upset. I said that I ate my kids’ leftovers and never received my order and you charged us. You are blaming me? He then said he was too busy and walked away. I am shocked how disrespectful our waiter was! Horrible service. Place needs some Sort of organization. There is no hostess at the front to tell you to go upstairs or to sit you. We Walked upstairs after another family just walked up. We aren’t locals. We are visitors. It’s a tourist area so you would assume someone would be at the front to guide folks to s table with menus. So we sat ourselves. A waitress said she would be right with us to clear the table but never came. I had to get up and chase one down. the waitress took 30 minutes for each drink. Kept forgetting our water. Then when i asked her about the drink specials she didn’t know. And just shrugged her shoulders. Definitely stole money from us by charging us for stuff we did not order. We ordered two long islands. Totaled 14 and some change. Then an extra 1$ for “tall” and an extra “5” for mid shelf ? We didn’t ask for that. We just asked for long islands. I questioned her an she said “idk I’m new but let me find out” then gave us some horrible excuse for the charges. I was tired and wasn’t about to cut the f up so paid and left.
