Relaxed and Yummy Tasting Experience!
This is our 2nd visit to Helen, Ga. My husband and I visited Sweet Acre Farms’ tasting room in Helen on a busy Saturday during the Juneteenth weekend, and it was such a memorable experience! Even with the crowd, the staff - one hostess remained incredibly patient, kind, and helpful, guiding us through the tasting options with a warm and welcoming energy.
We enjoyed a flight and a slushy, and both were super good refreshing, flavorful, and perfect on this hot day!!. We especially loved the selections from Château Elan, including Spring Blossom (Strawberry), Duncan Creek Rose, Berry Bliss, and Tropical Breeze; each one unique and bursting with character.
What made the visit even more special was being able to bring our two kids along and still enjoy ourselves in a laid-back, family-friendly environment. We left with happy hearts, great memories, and a bottle to take home. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Helen — we’ll...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sweet Acres Winery Tasting in Helen, GA, and it was a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, the welcoming atmosphere enveloped us. The rustic charm of the winery, nestled in the beautiful backdrop of the Georgia mountains, set the perfect tone for a delightful afternoon.
The wine selection was impressive, featuring a variety of local wines that showcased the unique flavors of the region. Our host, Beth, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about each wine, sharing her insight. She also gave great recommendations on places to visit in the area.
I had a flight of the Bullhead, sweet blueberry, sweet a** blackberry (my favorite), lemon blueberry, and lemon peach. Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or just looking for a lovely afternoon outing, I highly recommend stopping by. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their offerings! Cheers to a delightful...
Read moreThe wife and I stopped in on a whim, and we were greeted by a lovely lady named Barbara. Barbara was attentive and knowledgeable and overall a great person. She invited us back later in the evening for trivia night, which was going to be hosted by the owner and the Sweet Acres Farm manager. While we showed up a bit late, we were able to jump right in with no problems. Matt, the owner, and the manager were just as fantastic as Barbara. They have an amazing selection of local wines and beers (both on tap and in bottles). While the selection is not huge like you would typically find in a larger establishment, they did offer enough of a variety that everyone should be able to find something to their liking. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone...
