Nice little play area for kids ~2-12. It's right by the road, which is nice when you are walking through the city so you can just hop off the sidewalk and make a detour for your kids, but it's unfortunately not fenced in. There is a steep place you can step down to get into the river, and again no fence to keep kids from getting in, but there is a good distance between the river and the playground. They need to put sod out, it's mostly dirt outside the play area. There are a couple shaded porch swings, benches, and there is a neighboring building with public restrooms but they were locked when we visited, so maybe they are only open for festivals or during busy season. Watch out if it has rained recently, there's a few puddles around the playground and under the swings. Parking is a little further down the road, don't park at the rentals and get towed!
