I have been a customer for YEARS. Our family tradition for every holiday is to get a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. At Christmas we purchased an 8” White Chocolate Raspberry cake. When we opened the box we noticed the cake looked substantially smaller than we are used to. We measured the cake and it didn’t even measure 7”. At this point we had a house full of guests and had to serve part of the cake.
The following business day I reached out to the store and spoke with the owner Paul Teller. His demeanor was incredibly degrading and condescending. At one point he asked me if we ate the cake and enjoyed it? To which I responded that this was a dessert for Christmas Day and we had to serve part of the cake. I told him I would be happy to bring in the remaining half to show him the size discrepancy. He replied I won’t eat a half of your cake. Things got heated and he eventually offered to refund our money and give us a free cake for the future.
I wasn’t happy with how the conversation went because of his condescending demeanor but was willing to give the company another try. Today I went to pick up my cake that he offered. I simply said that I have a credit for a free cake on my account that I would like to use. His employee Bella decided to take it upon herself to not once but TWICE reprimand me about how their cakes are cooked in 8” pans and that a ruler does not measure diameter. Round is round and an 8” cake should be 8” correct? At this point there were a few other customers in the building and I asked her what is the point of reprimanding me and trying to embarrass me in front of other guests? No body needed to know the situation. I didn’t bring it up. I spoke with the owner and was simply coming in for what he offered me. As I was asking Bella why she felt the need to school me on cakes I asked her what the point of this was and Paul decided to run out from the back and got extremely close to me to escort me out for what his employee did to me.
I have never in my life been treated so poorly by an establishment let alone another man. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable not only on the phone but now in person.
Be aware that if you are not happy with your product they will shame you. The right way to have handled this would be to hand me the cake and say enjoy your cake I hope this...
Read moreI’ve given this location multiple chances, and I’m beyond disappointed. I’ve gone on four different Mondays, and every single time the cakes Ive wanted has been out of stock. It seems like Mondays are always low on inventory whether it’s because they’re trying to clear out cakes from Saturday (since they’re closed Sundays) or something else, I don’t know. One of those visits I even stood in line for 15 minutes before anyone came out from the back, only to be told the cake I wanted wasn’t available. That was the final straw. I went today and of course the biscoff and multiple other cakes were not available. This used to be a great place to grab a treat, but lately it feels like a waste of time. After four empty-handed trips, I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. If I could give negative...
Read moreA couple of weeks ago I stopped by the Hendersonville, TN store and picked up a few bundt cakes. When I got home I realized two of the cakes were not what I had ordered. For medical reasons I could not eat them. The other cakes were for other members of the family. I called the store and told them about the mistake. I asked if I could return the cakes and get two I could eat. They said absolutely and told me to keep the two cakes I already had as others in my family could eat them. When I returned to the store the manager and the entire staff greeted me and sincerely apologized for the mistake. They gave me two replacement cakes and other items as gifts. I was truly blown away by their sincerity. The manager and staff are amazing AND the cakes are...
