I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Pollo Inka in Hermosa Beach and I must say it was an extraordinary experience. As a Peruvian food enthusiast, I can confidently affirm that El Pollo Inka serves the best Peruvian cuisine in all of Los Angeles. From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I knew I was in for a treat.
The first aspect that caught my attention was the incredible service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Their warm hospitality made me feel right at home, and it added an extra layer of enjoyment to my meal.
Speaking of the meal, every dish I tried was a testament to the authenticity of Peruvian cuisine. The flavors were rich, vibrant, and reminiscent of the traditional recipes I grew up with in Peru. It felt as though I was transported back to my mother's kitchen, savoring her delectable creations. The menu featured a diverse range of classic Peruvian dishes, such as lomo saltado, ceviche, and of course, their famous pollo a la brasa (rotisserie chicken). Each bite was a symphony of taste, and the quality of ingredients was evident in every dish.
In addition to the outstanding food and service, El Pollo Inka boasts a wonderful location. Situated in Hermosa Beach, the restaurant offers a charming and relaxed atmosphere. Whether you choose to dine indoors or enjoy the refreshing ocean breeze on the outdoor patio, the ambiance perfectly complements the culinary journey you embark upon. It's an ideal spot for a casual lunch with friends or a memorable dinner with loved ones.
This is a hidden gem that truly captures the essence of Peruvian cuisine. With their outstanding food, impeccable service, and delightful location, it's an experience that's hard to match. If you're looking for the best Peruvian food in Los Angeles, I wholeheartedly recommend El Pollo Inka in Hermosa Beach. Read moreEl Pollo Inka in Hermosa is a great place for real Peruvian food. They are well known for their roasted chicken and we always have that and other great dishes.
The place is clean and well maintained. It is also very comfortable and pretty. You will like it here. The service is outstanding with a friendly staff who know the menu well.
Peruvian food is one part Inkan and one part Spanish with a little African, and Chinese influences. Peruvian food is a great combination of influences from different times and cultures.
Their signature Pollo a la Brasa and, Peruvian Rotisserie Chicken, is a must try for first time goers. It is just fabulous with the best flavor and super fresh. The Lomo Saltado and El Pollo Inka uses only the freshest ingredients and spices imported from Peru.
They are best known for their green Aji Verde hot sauce (Green Sauce), a sauce that will bite your tongue; I used to love it, but sadly I can no longer have spicy items. But if you can, go for it.
They have a great selection of vegetarian dishes as well.
Their fried rice is super, actually any of their rices are great.
They are fairly priced and you will likely have some left to take home. Have...
Read moreWent here with my family to order pollo a la brasa for to go, which was a whole chicken with fries. The chicken was red not cooked well done. The portion of salad was a lot more then the portion of fries, because the portion of fries was a little box the size of my hand even though the fries had to accomdate a complete family order. However the manager refused to give me another box of fries and wanted to charge me for another one. When I said that this is not how it’s served in most Peruvian restaurants, the manager who’s a bearded Arab had told me, “well this is how we serve the pollo a la brasa here”. It was shocking to me because I’m Peruvian and never thought how people can f+++ up a dish. Peruvian food is served in abundance not as an apppetizer. I’d recommend going to the pollo Inca in Hawthorne. The manager there is a Peruvian not a cheap Arab bringing his mentality to a...
