Emerson's Coffee — Restaurant in Hickory

Just had a bad experience ordering a coffee with a friend. My friend (the actual customer) coughed into his elbow and one of the employees (not the one serving us - he was actually quite pleasant) proceeded to ask repeatedly in a very sarcastic tone questions "are you OK? Do you need ibuprofen? Do you need a face mask? Sometimes when people cough they need a face mask" and on after repeatedly being told we are fine and do not need medicine or a face mask. Keep in mind this establishment is in the mall so it is not an enclosed space. As Myself and my sister walk into the small but cozy coffee shop, we noticed first that the employee was working very hard and treated everyone amazingly. We then ordered and I got the slammer in butter pecan and it was not just perfectly mixed with 3 shots of hair tingling, face numbing awesomeness and butter goodness pecan. My sister got the white chocolate pistachio frappe and she loved it. Also as a side note there christmas tree cookies are so very soft, it was like bitting into nothing but also like bitting into flavorful deliciousness at the same dang time. I haven't gone here since I tried it years ago and I absolutely love this coffee shop I love this coffee shop more than I love Starbucks at Dunkin Donuts because they're like family owned and they always treat you with very kind of respect and very friendly I would love to go more but I don't really like getting out of my car and going into the mall all the time but most of the time when I do go to the mall it's probably because of the store.
