Their chicken wings are pretty good, I order from them frequently. It’s usually take out order, I pick up my food and leave. Just yesterday I ordered my usual order of wings, when I arrived the wings had not been packaged. I looked in the kitchen area and noticed pieces of fried chicken just sitting on top of what looked to be raw chicken. Yes, raw chicken. The hostess packaged my wings and bought them to me. I questioned her as to what they were sitting on top of before she bagged them. She looked around as if she didn’t know what I was referring to. Pointing out all sorts of random things in the kitchen. When she finally pointed to the bucket with the ‘raw’ chicken she said it was ‘General Tao’s’ chicken. I asked was it cook and she said ‘yes’. I then asked her to pick up a piece so I could have a closer look. She picked up a piece to show me, but she remained in the kitchen. She didn’t want to come close to me. I asked her to come closer and she slammed the chicken (raw chicken) down and told me ‘well if you don’t want the chicken that’s fine’. So I just left.
That chicken was raw. It was not cooked. She knew it, I knew it as well as the lady standing next to me who agreed that the chicken was raw.
Can you believe that? Not only did she just sit my food on top of some bucket of food, which is already in poor taste and unsanitary, but she sat it on top on raw/uncooked poultry.

Read moreI attempted an order over the phone and the female server was very rude and loud when taking my order. So, I went to the restuarant in person. To make two orders. I tell that same server my order and she reads it back to me correctly on both. I pay with a debit card and sign the receipt. But when I get home I noticed an error. I got an extra item and charged as well. I proceeded to contact the place about and they put me on hold/ then hung up on me twice.
I then took the extras back to the restuarant to get back the difference. Since there was no print anywhere on the receipt or in the restuarant. Of not accepting refunds. So I told the same female server who serviced me that I was satisfied with my order except the extra which I brought back. I just wanted the difference. Back.
She began getting loud telling me I did order it. I continued in my normal composure to repeat that it was wrong and offered her to look in the bag and see for herself. She was still yelling and refused to look and said ,we don't give refunds.' She barely let me get a word in. I questioned that and got no response. I saw no evidence of a NO REFUND policy

I acknowledge that I am biased because, after many visits to the restaurant, I have come to know the family well. They are truly honest, hardworking, and kind people who contribute positively to the community. I understand that the lady can be loud and may come across as ‘rude,’ but that is simply her personality. Once you get to know her, you will see that she is a kind-hearted person.
Regardless, I enjoy the food every time, and they often give me extra food for free. On a few occasions when they were busy, they even told me to take the food and not worry about paying. As first-generation Chinese immigrants, they have overcome numerous obstacles and are now sending their son to dental school.
