walking through hoboken one rainy day and found this coffee shop to warm up.

inside was cozy and there were more seating options at the very back. We got their coffee and hot chocolate and both were good. The latte was pretty solid and was made with latte art. we also tried one of their cookies which i actually thought was a crinkle at first. not bad. They have lots other pastries and baked good. Wonder if they were made in house.

anyway, i had the mishap of knocking over my hot coco and was left with less than 1/4th of it. So embarrassing! I tried to quickly clean up after the mess but staff also helped out even without me asking which was very thoughtful. aside from that i was even given another hot coco which I was hesitant at first to take since it was my fault i lost most of my drink but staff was very kind. I gladly accepted it and it warmed not only my body but also my soul! thank you...

When I walked into the coffee shop I didn't know if the barrista/customer service woman thought she worked at hooters or a strip club, but I mean her girls were so very close to just popping out of her top, which was very distracting, tacky and tasteless. I'm going to assume her employer or maybe she was the owner, no clue, went over a dress code but from what I witnessed I assume the dress code was very little or just no clothes at all. There are all ages of people going in there so I'm sure they all thought the same thing. I get that if you got it flaunt it, but it should be done at the right place at the right time. Besides that I thought it was a very nice place, the music she was playing was a little vulgar with lots of profanity, but hey to each his own. I'll definitely look for a different, more classy place next time. It's a shame that one person...

One of my absolute favorite cafes in hoboken. Coffee is always done right, and they don’t make you feel bad with any of your requests (yup, i’m that customer). They’re so sweet. Also, love their space. Pre-pandemic, ample amounts of outlets, plenty of seating options. Right now, they have a cute little outdoor seating area, and don’t you worry during a downpour. They have a huge umbrella that covers about half the seating area, but the seating is limited like every where else. Also, recently they started stocking keto friendly snacks. Heaven for me to find a place with good seating, good coffee, genuinely friendly people, and a bathroom I can use while I camp out on a seat with my 18th cup of...

I’m deleting my positive review and updating with this (their response below is not in response to this updated review): We wait all winter long to be able to sit outside and sadly this place completely ignores their outdoor seating area. Broken tables, weeds, and garbage litter the space but what makes it completely intolerable is they refuse to replace broken and missing umbrellas —if it wasn’t for this city employee, it would literally be a garbage dump—and this is after finally managing to open the damn place on time at 7:00am instead of 8:30, 9:00, or whenever they care enough to get someone over here to open the place up—how do you totally ignore your business like this?

Nice spot, good music and plenty of drink options beyond coffee. I usually walk past this spot but finally decided to go in since they have extended hours, unlike other coffeeshops nearby. Ordered a chai latte and a London fog. And both were yummy. I liked the funky vibe in the shop and they had knickknacks and many other coffee related products to take home and plenty of vegan pastries/treats. It seems that they had a revolving seasonal drinks which I’d love to try on my next visit. Give this place a try :)
