As a passionate foodie with a genuine appreciation for authentic global flavors, I was genuinely disappointed by my experience here. The restaurant claims to serve globally inspired bowls, but what I received was an overstuffed container of bland rice with a sprinkle of toppings that barely hinted at any international influence.

Let’s be honest—this isn’t global cuisine. It’s a basic rice bowl dressed up with buzzwords and a $15+ price tag. For that price, you’d expect thoughtful seasoning, vibrant ingredients, and some semblance of culinary effort. Instead, it felt like something I could throw together at home in 10 minutes for a fraction of the cost—and frankly, it would probably taste better.

As someone who travels often for work, I’ve grown a bit indifferent about food—until I discovered JAGs on Main in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. A good friend introduced me to this gem, and I couldn’t be more grateful!

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a spotlessly clean space and a warm, relaxing atmosphere. The staff? Absolutely wonderful—genuinely friendly, attentive, and welcoming. It instantly feels like a place you want to come back to.

And then there’s the food—wow! Everything I tried was not just good, but truly outstanding. Their specials live up to the name and are clearly crafted with creativity and care. The menu isn’t overwhelming, which I appreciate, because everything they offer is fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and downright delicious.

Today's visit was my first, and it won't be my last. I took my birthday girl, to enjoy a different dish. She enjoyed the different flavors and dedication the Chefs put to create such a delicious bowl full of food. I'am so thankful for the attention we received from Antonio and Nick. Thank you so much for inviting us to sit after you were about to close, we appreciate your conversation and the carrot cake you gave my girl was full of flavor and moist. I read the reviews before I drove 30 minutes to eat there and today i had a dental appointment which the Technician recommended this restaurant to me. We will advocate for your business because your food is so delicious we had Today's special and the Korean bowl.
