Oahu Ocean Adventures — Attraction in Honolulu

After one week in Oahu, my wife and I decided to spend our final evening in Waikiki taking in the sunset off the coast. We found Oahu Ocean Adventures online, which offered exactly the experience we were looking for - a quiet, intimate sunset on the water. The website was professional and the rate competetive, so we booked our evening cruise for the following evening.

In the morning, Forrest, the Business Owner/Captain of the vessel reached out to confirm our booking and pickup location, conveniently right outside of our hotel the Prince Waikiki. We boarded the vessel at 4:30 PM and received a warm greeting from Forrest and his crew/family. After a brief safety orientation we were off for our 2.5 hour excursion. The boat was well maintained, clean, and comfortable. We spent the first hour or so taking in the pituresque Waikiki and Ala Moana coastline, a pleasant and relaxing experience. After a while Forrest joined us and shared some stories of his life growing up in the Bahamas and answering our questions about Hawaii and his life on the water. It was nice getting to know him and getting an insider's perspective on island living.

Eventually my wife started feeling seasick, to which Forrest and his crew were quick to respond by moving the boat closer to the shore and into calmer waters. I appreciated the professionalism and responsiveness, as did my wife and she was able to settle her stomach enough to finish the voyage. Yay!

We really enjoyed our time with Oahu Ocean Adventures and felt we were in responsible and capable hands. It was the perfect capstone to our time in Hawaii and recommend Oahu Ocean Adventures to any and all seeking an ocean excursion while visiting Honoulu. Thanks again to Forrest and his awesome...

I recently went on an adventure with Ocean Adventures in their beautiful catamaran, and it was an absolute blast! I have to give this experience a five-star review because it was truly amazing. The sightseeing of whales and dolphins was absolutely breathtaking, and it was something that I will never forget. The crew was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and made sure that we were able to see all of the amazing wildlife that Hawaii has to offer.

One of the highlights of the trip was when we went fishing and actually caught fish! It was such a fun experience, and the crew made sure that we had everything we needed to make the most of it. We were able to reel in some really impressive fish, and it was definitely a highlight of the trip.

The positive and fun vibe of the crew and other guests on the catamaran was infectious. Everyone was having such a good time, and it really made the whole experience even better. The crew was so friendly and welcoming, and they made sure that everyone was comfortable and having a good time.

What's even more impressive is that the price for this experience was very affordable. It was one of the best prices on the Hawaiian island for the experience that we received. It's clear that the catamaran adventure is family operated, and they really go above and beyond to make sure that everyone has a great time.

Overall, I would highly recommend this catamaran adventure to anyone visiting or living in Hawaii. It was an unforgettable experience that was made even better by the amazing crew and the beautiful surroundings. I can't wait to go back and do it...

We were disappointed that our 8-hour snorkeling day ended up being spent shuttling back and forth across Waikiki, despite the website's claim of going to the North Shore. Later, we found out that specific words and phrases are used on the website to boost SEO. As someone with a background in marketing, I understand the strategy, but this tactic in particular is misleading.

When we arrived, we mentioned that we were excited to explore beyond Waikiki. However, we only stopped at two snorkeling spots, both within the Waikiki area. The only thing that saved the snorkel areas was seeing an octopus and eagle ray. We didn’t see any sea turtles.

While we made the most of our day, we've been on other private charters that offered much more in terms of exploration and sightseeing.
