A Flawless Experience at Flair European Steakhouse.
Flair European Steakhouse in Honolulu absolutely lives up to its name refined, flavorful, and full of charm. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by both the hostess and host, and seated immediately with no wait thanks to our reservation. That first impression set the tone for an outstanding evening.
We started with the Carpaccio di Manzo, featuring tenderloin sliced paper-thin, topped with arugula, Parmigiano, and a touch of lemon incredibly fresh and well balanced. The Puglia Salad with creamy burrata and peppery arugula was a perfect follow-up, and the Tartare de Boeuf was hands-down one of the best I’ve had rich, finely seasoned, and served with rustic bread that complemented it perfectly. We paired everything with a delicious glass of Chianti, which brought it all together beautifully.
Our server was excellent sweet, attentive, and completely on top of everything without ever hovering. She made great recommendations and ensured our experience was smooth from start to finish.
At her suggestion, we ended the meal with the traditional Papanasi, a warm Romanian dessert of cheese doughnuts topped with sour cream and berry jam. It was indulgent, comforting, and absolutely worth saving room for.
As we were leaving, the host came by again to thank us personally and invited us back such a gracious and classy touch that really elevated the experience even more.
Flair delivers not only beautifully prepared European cuisine but also top tier service and hospitality. This place is a gem in Honolulu, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended.

Read moreIt took 2 hours to receive our entrees… Everything started out great, polished service, delicious salads- pear, 2nd salad burrata, then we waited 2 hours for pasta…, 52.00 for parpadella pasta with “ black truffle” barely any truffle, no flavor and just lots of butter, lukewarm, and not satisfying. The other pasta dishes were same, lukewarm at best and not flavorful. I asked for bread after 1 hour and eventually the server brought out 4 slim slices of a baguette. Helped a bit to stave off the hunger while we waited. The host was busy serving the table next to us and blamed the kitchen staff. After a conversation the waitress said oh you are mad and the food will be out. Host did comp a bottle of champagne all though 2 of the 4 of us do not drink… and comped a dessert. This dish was nothing short of spectacular. The cotoletta was perfectly breaded and fried to a golden crisp--light, flavorful, and not greasy at all. What truly elevated it was the generous topping of creamy burrata, which added a luxurious richness and contrast to the crunchy cutlet.
The warm-cold combination of the hot veal and cool, velvety burrata was sensational. Each bite melted in the mouth, with a beautiful balance of textures and flavors. Garnished with a tomatoes and a drizzle of olive oil, the presentation was as elegant as the taste.
