My husband and I came to visit Sun Tea mix because it was super hot outside and we wanted to escape the heat. They’re located in Kaka’ako next to the Hmart. They have super convenient parking that’s free for the first hour or you can find street parking. I tried the coconut mango pudding, the mango charm smoothie and the peach smoothie with the salted cheese foam. I really liked the coconut pudding. The texture was soft and smooth, similar to soft tofu and the flavors were delicate and not too sweet, similar to a haupia jello. I loved the addition of mangos on top as it added a nice freshness and contrast in texture. 10/10 I would totally get this again. The perfect sweet treat for this weather. The mango charm was really tasty as well, it had layers of fresh mango smoothie, crystal boba, coconut pudding, and was topped with a fresh grapefruit. Each layer served a different purpose in the drink and didn’t feel like random ingredients thrown into a cup. The fresh fruits were again refreshing and allowed for the natural fruit flavors to shine without that artificial taste you get with other smoothie mixes, the boba added texture, and the coconut pudding added a creaminess to the smoothie that I really enjoyed. Finally the seasonal peach smoothie. I liked that you can see them prepare the fresh fruits in front of you and you could really taste the delicate flavor of peach. The cheese foam on top helped to add another layer of creaminess and with that little bit of salt flavor, it helped to really enhance the overall experience and flavors of the drink. Staff were really friendly and I love the spacious areas for you to hang out with friends and all the available outlets at the tables. Definitely a good place to study or just escape the heat.

First of all I would say the interior of the shop looks very nice. It is located in a convince location in kakaako with easy street parkings around. My girlfriend and I went to the shop on a Tuesday afternoon. When we first enter the shop it seems very fresh and clean since they recently opened. Me and my girlfriend were so excited to try this place out since we heard so much good things about it but the result was such a disappointed. I know this may not seem important to other people but during this pandemic time cleanliness are something we should pay close attention to. When we were waiting in line we notice some customers in front paid cash for their drink. Then the cashier received the she cash went straight to help making drinks without washing or sanitizing her hands. This should of been the first sign that we should of leave. The ordering process was smooth and we got our drink reletively quick. The drinks were comparatively expensive not sure if it is because of their location. We ordered two drinks and it cost about 20 dollars that's crazy!!! The drinks looks nice however let me tell you it definitely not worth the price. With the fruit oolong tea I can taste that they use fruit Jam and mixed with water. For the mango smoogurt too it taste like mango juice not fresh mango that they claim. Both drinks were a total disappointment. The value of the drinks does not match with the price. This may probably be the only time we will be coming to this place. Please do not use fruit juice or jams and advertise as " fresh fruit". If you are by the area don't care about the taste and have a lot of cash in hand please do try this place out.

They have good hours and excellent tea. Sometimes the sweetness level doesn't seem like it's been adjusted despite asking for less sweet, but often they are very good about it. They bring your drinks to your table after you order. I think their sizes are really good and all of their boba is a nice texture as well. I wish they had more drink options, but they use fresh fruit so often their options are limited depending on the season. It's very bright with lots of natural light and a variety of table sizes. Every table has multiple outlets, which is excellent when it's crowded and you are looking to work. They also have free wifi. I appreciate being able to work later than 6pm - they are open until 9. I do wish their music was less loud, but with headphones it isn't too bothersome. They also have board games available if you want to play around while you have your tea. I haven't tried the souffle so I'm not sure how they taste but they look good from seeing other people order! TL;DR - excellent place to sit and work with good tea and nice lighting. Definitely reccomend

Delicious smoothies!!! Friendly staff and beautiful setup!!! I wish I get to sit inside and do my work in a sunny afternoon... let’s hope we all get to do it soon enough. I had a cheese foam topped peachy smoothie which is super refreshing and creamy too adding the cheesy top. However, if you are not a fun of the sweet and savory contrast in your smoothie, try their milk tea instead - my mom didn’t care much for the cheesy top, but she would definitely go again for the traditional milk tea. It’s well balanced with the sweetness of the milk and fragrance of the tea - just like the one you would taste in Hong Kong, but in a much more refined version. Price wise... it’s on the pricier end, but being at Kakaako, decorated with the most modern and beautiful decor (they prob had an interior designer do it professionally), using very good quality and stylish material for the drinks, I say they price like any smart business person would. A plus, the photo opportunity... haha any drink you order it’s an art. Adding the backdrop of their cute little shop - what else do you ask for when you enjoy the drink while having hundreds (if not thousands) of your friends envy you at the same time?!! Love love love this place. I’d go every chance I have when I’m in the area. Oh, btw, they validate a hour of parking too when you park at...
