Read moreA few days prior, my wife was walking by Tropical Tribe, on her way to pick up a cup of coffee. Noticed the massive açaí bowls coming out of the place, so a few days later, she mentioned going there for breakfast which I thought was a great idea because it was on my list of quick eats to check out in Honolulu. We arrived at about 7:15AM with only one person in line in front of us. We had our hearts set on a good old-fashioned açaí bowl so we decided on the tropical bowl. Just before we checked out we noticed a warmer filled with little wonderful pao de queijo’s ready to be eaten. Then we realized that they’re sold their fresh until they sell out. We had no choice, but to buy a few of them, which were amazingly fluffy, warm, and most of all. cheesy. Our bowl was the perfect quick breakfast, and was large enough for the three of us to share. Read moreAfter much consideration I review my comments from a year ago. many people buy this with the understanding that it's fresh organic but it comes in Frozen so it's not fresh it's Frozen thawed out and then you buy it that's okay but you just have to be smart enough to understand that. also I know someone who is eating there often they gained considerable weight to be honest they started getting fat. They were swearing by it being fresh it was never Frozen exedra not the case it's frozen it's thawed out and you eat it and you run a risk by freezing it again. you also have to look at the calories it's extremely high calorie so if you're someone who counts your calories one large acai bowl it's just about all or at least half your meals for the entire day. so you have to understand what you're eating. the pictures are great I applaud them for that but it's definitely not your solution for daily...
