I love the Manapua (pork buns) alot here. Very tasty. Not sure if they make their own or not but it tastes almost exactly like ones i used to buy from a Japanese Grocery Store 🤔 Either way, they are delicious. I always ask my mom to pick some up from here when she has to run errands. Hoping one day i can try their Beef Bowl, Pork Yakisoba & Ramen as well. Looks so delicious! Updated:03/13/2023 My mom and Nephew picked us up lunch from here today. I wanted to try the Pork Yakisoba. I felt it was very much lacking in flavor and seasoning. Good for people on a very very low salt restriction. 3/5 stars ⭐️ gyoza was ok, kinda on the small side though. Disappointed.

SKIP THIS PLACE!! I ordered another place andy wife came here to get ramen. We sat down in front of this place and started eating. She gets halfway through her ramen and saw something something that looked like a bean. She put it on her spoon and it was a roach! Took it to the counter and the lady just seemed like this happens. Didn't seem surprised. She said sorry and she will refund the money. Lady didn't even have the common courtesy to refund the gyozas or her drink. Of the $18 she just have $14 refund back. This is an unsanitary place! I'm assuming no pest control... But they have a "pass" for restaurant inspection. DO NOT EAT HERE!!

Located in the Makai Market Food Court of Ala Moana Center, Naniwa-ya Ramen was a good choice for a quick and easy lunch. The Japanese food was tasty with fast service and plenty of seats in the food court. The servings were of reasonable size and we felt we got our money’s worth. We were able to get back to our shopping in no time!

There are a lot of ramen places out there and each claiming to have some special broth or noodle, but Naniwa-Ya has been around for decades and offers a good selection of ramen to match just about anyone's taste and at a reasonable price. You get a decent size bowl of noodles and toppings swimming in a good broth at a fair price. On top of that it is fast and ready to eat or takeout before you know it. The final nice addition is their add your topping open bar of green onion, fried garlic, and other seasonings that you can help yourself to for that extra bang to your ramen.

I tried the Kimchi Lime ramen and was very pleased with it. Had lots of veggies, so it was a much healthier alternative to the other meat based ramens. I do recommend getting a side of their bamboo shoots to add to it.

Yes this is a mall food court eatery, but it is as I said in my first paragraph, decent, tasty, and at a fair price. So if you are in the mood for ramen, go to...
