Passed by Tapas Kitchen in a hot afternoon. I was craving for a cold drink then so I decided to try mango smoothie.
The smoothie is all made of fresh mango cuz I found mango pulp in it. It tastes so good and fresh. And I love its presentation. The frozen bear looks so cute on it. And probably cuz I was the only client and it was less busy then, the owner even generously offered to fill up my cup with the remaining smoothie in the blender.
I will definitely come back not only for smoothies but also for food.

Was craving for some comfort food so I went today for fried chicken wings.
This chicken wings exceeded my expectations. Very tasty.
When I placed the order, I assumed I would get the ordinary fried chicken wings. (You know those wings sprinkled with salt and pepper.) The second I opened the container, I smelled a very nice fresh citrusy aroma from lemon zest on the chicken wings. The wings are crispy outside and tender inside. Very flavorful and not greasy at all. I really like the spices used for the wings.
I would give the wing a 9/10. It would be perfect if it was a little bit more juicier. (It’s not dry...
Read moreAtmosphere is very laid back, not crazy food traffic for people who don’t like to be watched eating. Seating is limited. I wouldn’t bring a large group but definitely myself and a friend. Service was great. She was so nice, patient, open to conversation, great smile. Very welcoming. Loompa her puppy is very friendly as well. Food took around 20 min. She runs the truck on her own. Made to order. We got Strawberry lemonade and a Strawberry Smoothie (came with a bear shaped strawberry ice on top), for food. We had the spicy garlic shrimp, birria quesadillas, calamari fries, and regular fries. Shrimp meal came out very flavorful. With chunks of garlic, quesadillas was also very flavorful. Meat was cooked really well. Would eat again. Fries were crispy outside soft centered made fresh. Calamari very crispy batter easy to eat and sauce had a slight sweetness. 9/10...
Read moreFollowed the advice of another reviewer and ordered the garlic shrimp and birria quesadilla.
Garlic shrimp was definitely better than a highly rated truck in north shore (which I tried the day after). The consome for the birria quesadilla was also one of the best I’ve tried and I’m from Los Angeles/San Gabriel Valley so I’ve tried a lot.
Almost forgot that I also ordered the pork belly baos. These bao’s somehow ended up being my favorite out of the 3 things I ordered which was surprising, because it was the last item I ate and I didn’t think this food truck would be 3/3 home runs. The pork belly was juicy and you could taste every ingredient in the bao without either overpowering the other. A lot of bao places in socal tend to have dry meat, not enough meat, or mask everything w a heavy sauce.
Highly recommend this hidden...
