Island Art Galleries, Waikiki — Attraction in Honolulu

Originally from Oahu, I’ve lived on the mainland for many years now. Currently updating my home interior and wanted a traditional/historic painting of Polynesians/Hawaiians to represent my heritage and family. On my recent visit to Oahu, I wandered into Island Art Galleries in Waikiki and they had exactly what I was looking for! Several artists, several paintings I loved in my price range. Manon, the sales associate who helped me was knowledgeable and had just the right approach. Once I was able to share what I was looking for, she showed me several pieces that were each perfect in their own right. Had to leave and think about the top two choices overnight and contacted her next day with selection. Whole process was enjoyable and seamless, and painting arrived to mainland in a timely manner and perfectly packed. I love this gallery, especially the paintings that depict Hawaiian history. Be sure to have them use their adjustable lighting system to show paintings in different types of lighting (color temperatures). I just received 2 paintings from them via FedEx. I was kept fully informed of the shipping which I scheduled to delay delivery until after my 2-month stay in the islands. The paintings arrived on schedule expertly packed in perfect condition & fully documented.. coming to this art gallery was an indescribable experience. thank you Rama for showing us the most beautiful paintings i have ever, ever seen! and for showing us how the light makes paintings even more magical. this art gallery was more impactful than my visit to the MoMa and the Belvedere Museum in Vienna. my boyfriend and i both teared up upon seeing multiple pieces. wow. i was in Hawaii for 12 days and this was definitely top 5 highlights of the whole trip!...
