I've been burnt out of all the places to eat out in the area, never got to this one cause it always crosses my mind after they're closed. Walked in today and immediately realized that this was the type of restaurant I've been wanting in this area for so long. Incredibly cozy interior, friendly wait staff, and incredible food. You'll really feel at home here. Prices are amazing in today's economy, portions are good! 10/10 value. The seasoned potatoes are better than i could have imagined. Instead of cubed or hashed, they're smashed with the skin on. Possibly the best breakfast potatoes I've ever eaten. The J & N omelet I got was also delicious. Plate was absolutely covered in molten cheese and it everything was flavorful. Easy member of the clean plate club. My partner got the Finnish pancake, absolutely insane texture and the jam they serve it with is amazing. Got some baked goods at the counter for fifty cents each, still walked out paying under 20 dollars. My only complaint is that they aren't open...
Read moreI've been going to Victoria's Kitchen since I was only a couple months old. I have to say that I the new owner really does her best to service her customers! She does what ever she can to be accomedating such a gluten free options, vegan, and vegetrian options. Fresh bread, muffins, soups, and deli options every day! If she doesn't have a recipe, she'll find one! She has many loyal customers (such as myself!) for over 20 years!
Three things about Vickies: 1. The middle eastern options are amazing with only the finest freshest ingredients! 2. The breakfast is legend! (I mean where else can you get 2 eggs, seasoned potatoes, toast, and coffee w/ tax for less then $4) 3. Hands down Wednesday and Friday lunch buffets are to die for!
I highly reccomend these items: St. petersburg beef sandwich, Canadian Combo A, turkish coffee, sweet/sour soup, and seasoned potatoes!
There is really no other place like this in the copper country! It's truely a hidden gem! Many people don't even...
Read moreI go to school in houghton and have never been to this breakfast place. I have never really heard of it either until I found it online and no wonder I’ve never heard of it because this place was extremely rude and not even worth trying. The second I walk in the door I was yelled at saying “we’re full” with no other explanation provided and she walked away from us leaving us standing there. There were at least five empty tables and one table just left. Confused, W we walked out of the door and then turned back around to ask how long the wait would be and she basically said they won’t be able to fit us in today (there were only 3 of us), even though they close at 2pm and it was only 11:30am. Extremely disappointed in this place and will for sure not going back. I recommend going to Suomi’s or 5th and Elm which is right down the street. They gave great food, their staff is nice and actually tries to help you out,...
