I’m not one to leave reviews, frankly cause I work in the industry myself and know that bad reviews can tarnish establishments but after my experience, I believe they should know so they can do better.
I had a reservation on Mother’s Day Sunday for a party of 6. We did get there about 10 minutes late and that’s on us, but we did have to wait about 20 minutes before my mom had to flag down our waitress and ask for our drink order to be taken. She asked if we were still waiting for the rest of our party, we informed her they would not be making it and it would be just us at the table. Our drinks took about 5 or so minutes, but our alcoholic drinks took anywhere from 15-20 minutes. They just tasted like pure liquor. I understand alcoholic drinks are meant to get people tipsy but these had no flavor profile, just straight up vodka and tequila. After receiving our drinks, we waited another 20 minutes hoping the waitress would check on us and take our food order, she kept walking back and forth, completely missing our table and kept talking with her coworkers. After spending an hour in there with only drinks, no food, we decided to just leave. We had to flag down the bartender to bring us our check. It took them another 10-15 minutes to close out our tab and not once did they check and ask if everything was okay or what made us decide to just up and leave.
I made this reservation based off of availability and reviews/photos of this place and I was looking forward to it but after this experience, I don’t believe I’ll be back, not even if they were to extend an offer to make it up.
Edit - For the owner/restaurant to not take accountability for the poor customer service given and to put it back on the customers like we customers should let them know of their shortcomings while spending money/spending over an hour at their establishment is crazzzzyyyy. Our drinks came out immediately, but we had to wait an hour for our food to come out while watching two other tables who came in after us be seated, order, and receive their food before us. Said tables had more guests than the two of us. When we presented the issue to our waitress, instead of listening to us she became defensive, dismissive, and argumentative. She even walked off while attempted to explain and ask questions. Our waitress stated that the issue was the kitchen staff and the system, that when the kitchen receives orders the cooks choose which order to make first depending on what's ordered (meats, sides, pastry, so on.) The tables that came in after us had similar orders so it didn't make sense. The second waitress who was working along side her stated that the kitchen makes plates based on when the orders are put in by them, which makes sense. Needless to say, our waitress put our orders in late, but did not acknowledge it. We would have received that had she calmly communicated it. We understand being overwhelmed, but what we don't understand is the lack of accountability by our waitress. There was no supervisor nor manager to speak to. I waited to be severed when I first sat down, like over 10 minutes and I will mention it was not packed in the restaurant there were maybe 3 other tables in the place that had people sitting and one of those families were already eating. So I got up to ask if I need to order at the register, the stated he will take my order at a table. I order a Bellini and the farmers Breakfast with an added Waffle. Waited for my food to arrive and once it did the man had French toast on my plate. Disappointed by this I thought he would take the plate back and fix my 23$ order but no he asked me if it was okay if I just eat the French toast anyways since he clearly didn’t want to fix his mistake, I ate the plate as is. After I finished eating I wanted to just leave but yet again I had to get up to receive my check. I didn’t tip him at all since his service was half ass and inconsiderate. The food was good and despite me not ordering the French toast, it wasn’t that bad. But that’s not the point I wanted a waffle and I didn’t get what I ordered and I still had to pay for something that I did not order. I’ll probably never eat here ever again. Paid 30.31$
