I used to work close by and visited constantly from December 2019-March 2023. I remember the food being good, the service being quick, the price being reasonable, and sitting on the patio to enjoy my meal.

I was back in the area in February 2025 and decided to come here. And not much ha changed; it's still outdoor seating, still good food, but...one of the doors was covered in plywood from the inside, and the outside glass half was broken. I placed an order for a burger ADD bacon (was told it would be extra), fries, drink for a total of $13.66. I added a tip. And sat to wait for my meal. There was a group of two that were eating, a group of three waiting for their order, a single person (they were just sitting there). The group of three got their order and as my order was called, another person arrived in a dirty hospital gown and pants, wearing a faded hospital bracelet, and offered to sell a gold chain to the single person and then to the group of three. The group of two left. Then, this person approached me (which is why i noticed the details). They didn't offer to sell me the gold chain but did ask if I would buy them a meal. I agreed. They ordered a burger, plain, fries with lots of ketchup, and a cup of water. The total for their order was $13.36.

And that is the reason I included that part. The burger place does not give you an itemized receipt. They just tell you the amount. And after you pay you get a stubs with that amount on it.

I don't understand how there's only a $0.30 difference between our meals, if mine included bacon (which is an additional charge) and a soft drink and theirs didn't. I didn't complain or say anything. I paid, enjoyed my meal and so did they.

I went back today but, it's raining and i don't want to sit outside on a wet bench (you can't go inside, you order at the window). So, I left. But, it reminded me enough that I decided to leave a review.

I did like the food. It was a good portion of hot fries, the burger was juicy and had a good amount of toppings. The soda was a can soda and I drink a lot so, I finished it before I got halfway to the...

I have been a little busy and haven’t been able to get to this review, BUT, now that I’m here, I have to RAVE about this place! I visited this little store on Friday, June 29th. I was walking with my friend to the grocery store down the way when we got really hungry and saw this little place. The wall art is what really caught our eyes, but we didn’t see anyone inside at first so we thought maybe they closed early, but I saw an employee there and the door was open so we went in.

I do have to reiterate again that the artwork is fantastic!! It is spontaneous and eclectic, and it gives a good city vibe. It is also CLEAN, very clean, on the inside, which I loved as well. I had ordered the Charbroiled Pork sandwich which is made Vietnamese Banh Mi style, and my friend ordered the Korean Bulgogi style sandwich. We got sriracha sauce, but didn’t even need it. I tried both sandwiches and they were BURSTING with flavor and definitely didn’t need any sauce.

The baguette bread was that perfect light and crispy crust but chewy and satisfying inside, the pork was super tender as well as the beef in the Korean style sandwich, and the vegetables were fresh and full of flavor. No soggy bread, or wilted veggies unlike some places I’ve been.

It is safe to say that when the time comes, I will be back here again to try more of their food, and since they have a breakfast menu, I will also squeeze that in as well and write more...

When you first walk in the store you get that sense of how creative and unique the place is, there was graffiti on the walls and crazy designs it looked amazing, you can also smell the goodness in the air it was so delightful. There service was lovely they greeted me with loving arms, like I was a regular there which felt great they sat me down to my table and told me what I would like to order. I must say they had great seats very clean and tidy also very comfortable It was great, they also had a well organized menu with a bunch of food items. I really didn't know what to try, so I asked the waiter to bring me what ever he recommended as long as it was good. After about a 7 minute wait the food arrived, it smelt so good I was in awe the waiter brought out a big filled loaded burger, with onion rings melted cheese a juicy patty and a shiny bun with a side of fries and coke. when I first bit into the burger I was in heaven, it was amazing after I finished eating the waiter brought me napkins, and I had to tip him for giving me this amazing food I would definitely...

After all the years of living in Houston we still love coming to Stack Burger. Their breakfast is super fresh and delicious! Our favorites are the croissants with sausage and cheese, and their breakfast tacos are good sized and delicious as well! A must get is their Vietnamese Iced Coffee! Maybe one of the best in Houston!! Since the pandemic they didn’t have their baguettes for their Bahn Mis but their back! The Bulgolgi is out of this world! The fries are delicious as well! I’ve never had their burger but have heard good things. The couple running it are super sweet and the old lady who takes orders knows my girlfriend by name and always strikes up a convo when we visit! Their inside lobby is closed but you order from the outside window. As long as we are in Houston we will continue to patron Stack Burger! A Houston staple!

Not a bad burger, style is similar to an In-n-out burger but not as good. Service was quick and food was hot and made to order which was definitely a plus! Good place to eat close by to the Houston Passport Agency. Fries were ok but were probably just bulk frozen fries with some seasoning added. Burger was a little bland and their “stack sauce” didn’t seem to be too flavorful or they didn’t add enough, All around burger I would give a 7.5 out of 10, but good enough for a return visit. The building is being remodeled but they have a walk up window to place your order. They only have a small area to eat outside with wood benches and narrow bar style tables for seating under umbrellas which is pretty uncomfortable but doable for a place to sit.
