Iām beyond disappointed with this place. Iāve visited countless boba and food spots, but Iāve never experienced anything like this. Iām a UGC creator and was planning to create a free video for them because we were in the area. My daughter wanted boba, so I looked up a nearby spot, and this one came up.
From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome. Even though there were three staff members, I stood there waiting for 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. Iāve been to so many teahousesāDing Tea is one of my favoritesāand Iāve always been treated with kindness and respect.
Then, my 3-year-old daughter accidentally dropped her drink. I immediately felt terrible and apologized. I understand that accidents are frustrating, but the staffās attitude was shocking. Instead of showing a little compassion, they were visibly annoyed and made us feel like we didnāt belong there. Kids will be kids, and I wasnāt expecting special treatment, but to be treated so rudely is unacceptable.
Customer service? 0/10. The drinks? 3/10āand thatās being generous. Their attitude? 0/10.
It was obvious they didnāt want to make the replacement drink. When I went up to ask politely if I could get a new one, they just glared at me and, with so much frustration, said, āWeāll do it once we clean this upā¦ā I apologized again, trying to be understanding.
When they finally handed me the drink, the vibe was just coldāfilled with attitude. The girls behind the counter looked like they couldnāt wait to be anywhere else.

The worker didnāt greet me or acknowledge my presence at all, which made the environment feel cold and unwelcoming. It honestly seemed like he didnāt want me there and just hated being at work.
Customer service matters a lot to me, and this was one of the worst Iāve experienced at any boba shop. I asked the employee for his name, and he said it was Juan. Unless this place makes changes to their staff, I donāt see myself coming back. Normally, even when I donāt enjoy a spot, Iāll give it a second chanceābut not this time.
The drink I ordered wasnāt great either. It had a strange smell and just didnāt taste right. Iāve been to countless boba places and never had anything quite like this. My friend had recommended Hella Bubble, saying sheād been there a few times and the drinks were decent, but overpricedāespecially compared to Feng Cha on 18th Street. After this visit, I completely agree with her. Feng Cha is not only better in quality, but also more affordable.

There was just a male employee working, its the plus size hispanic male. As soon as I walked in the employee was in a bad mood like dang man im just trying to get some tea. Anyways he messed up on the drink and he noticed and I told him its okay I can leave I can see your in a bad mood give me a refund. The emoloyee changed his attitude and said im sorry I want to make your drink I promise. Fine he made my drink and my wifes and once we got to the car we automatically smelled the lid and smelled like mustiness!!!! I would hope he didnt do anything to our drinks but we threw then away!! šššš Never coming back to this location ever!!!!
