This place has consistently served right temperature food. My fries were always freshly fried and hot. However, they failed to take order right. Perhaps because the new guy taking orders. I ordered 3 small Frappuccino and they gave me 3 cappuccinos. I told them I ordered the Frappuccinos with cold blended ice coffee type drinks. When ordered, I also specifically said no whipped cream or extra drizzles. They made them with both when they corrected order. The girl at the window said:"Here we called it Frappe". I looked at the receipt to see it said cappuccino. So, it was how they misheard me and me not using the short version of the drinks name confused them. I made no mistakes ordering because I had ordered this drinks and called it Frappuccino and got it right always. It was just this night. Not too big a deal but they may have to redo many drinks if this happens with other customers. That's a lot of waste for them and inconvenience for both them and customers. Maybe it is just me. Next time, I will use "Frappe" instead to not confused them. He also asked what kind of of sauces for my nuggets and I told him barbecue and honey mustard. They gave me none of those but the other red sauce. They need to re-train and fix this or there will be issues ahead. Not good at all. I gave 4 stars since food was at good temperature. If I had gotten stale old fries and cold nuggets, that would have been a big big issue. I will have no other Mcdonald to go to. This is best of 3 locations close by me. Other 2 failed miserably with serving cold and old fries. They did not do what I had asked 60% of the time.. The other place I brought to their attention but was brushed off it was staled old fries. They were limp, cold and salty. Y can't they make upon order???? I would much rather wait a few minutes than getting cold old food!!! This McDonald's location is my goto only location left. I hope they keep up with that and don't ever serve or make too much food ahead unless they have crowed on high traffic time like lunch. In food industry, getting order right and perfect temperature, and never old expired food is very important. People deserve getting what they paid for and that should always be if they are to be successful and have good repeat business from the local customers not...
Read moreI feel compelled to preface this review by saying that I am just an average guy and I have learned not to expect above average performance from McDonalds over the years after what feels like countless experiences with their concept throughout the U.S. I mean why would any of us expect much when considering the price point and afterall it is fast food. I like to think I am reasonable and that I consider all factors before formulating an opinion regarding businesses that I patronize. At the end of the day, I am still spending money for products and services and that money adds up over the years. I rarely leave reviews, but after last night I feel it's necessary for me to communicate my frustration to other consumers in hopes of saving them the time and disappointment of a visit to this location.
My opinion of this location is as follows: they exhibit exceptionally poor exceution seemingly on every level by delivering consisently incorrect orders, poor food quality, lack of availability of advertised menu items, poor customer service, zero phone skills or etiquette when you attempt to contact them, no management presence or evidence that a manager even exist on the premises. That being said, since I am in the industry, I typically give all restaurants numerous chances for my repeat business as I very much understand the challeges and difficulty involved in the operations of restaurants. Regretfully, I decided to give this location the benefit of the doubt once again last night and yet another opportunity for redemtion even after what now seems like countless poor experiences during my previous visits. Let's just say that after again failing to meet basic performance metrics of fast food service and after myself and my friend awakened the next morning with upset stomachs.....I will never go back to this location despite its convenient location to my home. Furthermore, it will be a long time, if ever, before I return to any McDonalds regardless of location. It seems that McDonalds is too big of a corporation to address my concerns at this point, so in the future, I'll choose to spend my time and dollars at other restaurants. My apologies for the length of this review, but I was extremely irritated with this poor experience and the lack of concern from the staff...
Read more10pm on a Saturday night. When we arrived for a planned dine in experience, we drove around the drive though, planned to park near the main entrance but 3 tow trucks were blocking the way in. So we parked on the drive through side and walked around (the side door was locked). While ordering I asked an employee if we can park there. In the McDonalds parking lot. We noticed 3 tow trucks and that there was a bar nearby that was having their valet move vehicles into the McDonalds parking lot. She said she wasn’t sure, she directed us to another employee who wasn’t sure, told me to move, I told him about the 3 tow trucks blocking our way there, he again said he didn’t know, and then again told me to move, I again mentioned the tow trucks blocking my path, he again said he didn’t know and I asked for a manager. I was getting upset that he clearly couldn’t comprehend what I was trying to tell him. And told us, the manager, Maria, was busy on the headset. Then he told me she didn’t know.
I don’t live in Houston. Visiting for the weekend. The last thing I want is to have my truck towed in a city I’m very unfamiliar with, especially by the restaurant I’m eating at. How is it the manager and none of the employees know the parking policy in their own parking lot?! There were no signs, NOTHING!!
So we got our food, drove 2 minutes back to the hotel, and of course it was old and soggy and cold, took one bite, and threw it away.
Looking back at the experience, it makes sense. When we were in line asking about parking, another customer asked if we were complying about our food, we said no, she explained that she immediately threw up one bite in, and her fries were soggy too.
We had ordered 2 orders of French fries and asked them to be made fresh, our favorite. They were not made fresh.
I’ve visited McDonalds all over the world. I have had bad experiences and great experiences. This one is the...
