I went into this location thinking I’d have a great experience like I normally at the one in Atascocita well was I sadly mistaken the heavy set Hispanic female wasn’t pleasant at all I waited for her to restock her items which was okay because I understand how it goes I’ve worked as a Starbucks barista it gets hectic during rushes so she finally asked me for me orders I stated I wanted the Avo Turkey two of them one with American cheese and one with Swiss so she prepared them and I moved up and waited at the next lady I didn’t think I should have to keep telling them what type of sandwich I want especially when I was loud and clear at the beginning so I assumed she knew to put the avocado on my sandwiches if that what I ordered from the start and was adding on the other little toppings boy was I wrong I get the cashier who is Lauren Ross (the manager) and asked hey did she put the avocado on here these are two avo turkey sandwiches she said NO you have to tell them and I told her I did twice so she made the girl put avocado in two bowls on the side…I asked to speak to the manager and Lauren stated she was the manager I said I wanted my avocado on my sandwich not on the side I’m like what’s the point now I could have made it myself she said “well here’s a knife for you” getting smart she didn’t even offer to remake it. I felt the response and nonchalant attitude was unwarranted and not helping my issue as a deputy this was the worst customer service I’ve ever received from a potbelly worker and for her to be a manager this is beyond me I need feed back on this matter as soon as possible because the way I was treated was not okay and if this is the way your run your business then...
Read moreIt disappoints me to write this review; however, this afternoon I went to pick up my online order at this location. I had my service dog in hand as I was traveling with him at this time. Upon entering the premises, immediately the young woman working the counter asks "Is that a seeing eye dog?" Confused by the question, as this is not the initial approach by most in the service industry who are trained in handling this situation, I replied "Yes - wait, no. He's a service dog, though." She replied "He needs to be wearing his service vest." As I am very familiar with my rights having a service animal, I replied "Legally, he does not need to wear a vest." She then replied, "I need to see his service papers." Once again, I know my rights, so I replied "Legally, I do not need to show you my service papers. I'm just here to pick up my food, anyways." I'm already pretty insulted at this point as this employee is withholding my food until she sees my documentation insisting that it's some "policy" to see documentation....which I know cannot be true because it's against the law. Nevertheless, I comply and show her my service papers, and she reluctantly hands over my order.
This was a complete violation of my rights and truly, this could be escalated a lot further if I chose to do so. Potbelly, please educate your employees on how to navigate customers with service animals as this was completely inappropriate and very ignorant quite frankly. Resultantly, I have no desire to return to this location anymore, and I hope...
Read morefood is good! love it so much! it’s not bad at all but when you as an employee is rushing through it to get people out of your way, things tend to be forgotten like when I asked for almost all the toppings and sauces or you come off as rude because you and your coworker is more worried about where someone should order than how to actually you know … make my food. i didn’t get a picture of the food like I said it’s not bad at all but I was pissed at the customer service from the big white girl. didn’t get ya name but i’m pretty sure if I messed up your food, there would be a problem.. wouldn’t it?
i did get a video of the atmosphere which i did get to enjoy! and my boyfriend did have a point regarding the ignorance and weird vibe I was getting from the employee but it is strange we can’t see anyone make our food.. i’m 5 feet so i know i can’t but to hear my 6’3 boyfriend say he don’t trust it and couldn’t see our food being made either is pretty sus. i’ll just be ordering from UBEREATS from now on. at least at...
