A few days late for this review but I would never forget about this place.
Tucked away on a quiet corner, Shakkar is the kind of café you stumble upon once and never forget. The aroma of freshly baked croissants greets you at the front, buttery and irresistible, mingling with the comforting scent of espresso.
The croissants are a true highlight â crisp, golden layers that shatter delicately with each bite, giving way to a soft, buttery interior. Whether plain, filled with rich chocolate, or topped with a whisper of almond cream, each one feels crafted with care. The coffee, smooth and robust, pairs perfectly â never too bitter, never too weak, just the right balance to complement the pastries.
Delicious food and more importantly great service ! Shout out to the young lady that gave me one of the best services I have ever received in any restaurant or cafe. Thank you Jennifer I will for sure be coming back and trying...
Read moreThey advertise having a few products like their giant croissant available to special order, but it's impossible to get ahold of them. We asked their staff both in person and through Instagram if we could order, but both pushed us to use their website. The problem with this is that their website does not work. I decided to submit an order inquiry through their website. After not hearing back for two days, I sent them an email. Their website and staff claim that you submit special orders just 2-3 days in advance. It has been 4 days and I can't even get in contact with someone (they do not have a phone number...

I got the âNegative double chocolate chip cookiesâ and the snickerdoodle. The snickerdoodle is light and fluffyâpretty standard, nothing too exciting. It was also rewarmed which now looking back, could be interpreted as not freshly baked. Yes I am speculating here. But no excuses for the double chocolate chip cookie. I asked if the cookie was cakey and was led to believe it would be gooey and extremely chocolatey which I interpreted as dense and rich. It was crunchy even in the middle which was at least 1.5 inch thick. I still have a brownie croissant to try but I donât want to be...
