The wife and I head downtown to the Post Houston Center to try some new restaurants and we were lucky enough to stumble upon Thrive Juices. With a great assortment of juiced beverages and other food items to choose from (many more which are listed on the menu are on the way) we both throughly enjoyed our choices. I had the Acai Protein bowl which had an assortment of ingredients that came together and delivered a quite pleasant taste and texture combination, while keeping me safe from the guilt of an unhealthy meal. The wife had a great tasting, healthy, pick-you-up, Matcha tea in which the bitterness of the matcha was proportionally balanced by one of the multiple choices of sweeteners, agave. Not only did we throughly enjoy our food and beverages, but during our visit we also had the opportunity and pleasure to meet the two young entrepreneurs/owners. These awesome young men are taking their dreams and making it happen in a big way. They have risen to the challenge of not only opening their own business, but doing it in a location which will most likely prove to be one of the busiest, happening spots in Houston. However, that is not the only great attribute these two young men possess, what was even more impressive is their commitment to serving the community and giving back. They throughly understand the importance of healthy food, especially in low income communities, and they are committed to making a difference by sponsoring 5 Houston families to receive monthly fresh produce deliveries. In our opinion this speaks volumes to their character and they will always have our...

My daughter and I were looking for a açaí bowl after our workout, and chose to visit Thrive Juices at the Post. We approached the counter to order and the attendant there told us he didn’t open until 11a (it was around 10:20a) we decided to walk around until 11a only to see a couple with 2 açaí bowls! We asked where did they get them and they directed us to the stand (Thrive Juices) who had just turned us away! We started to leave but decided because of the “lack of consistency” of service we decided to go back after about 10-15 min, we then encountered the same person who refused service, but hesitant to take our order, did service us this time. The bowl overall was ok (7 out of 10). It would have been better had it been freshly made (base was prefrozen). Please know that when servicing customers, it should remain consistent and fair, not to pick and choose “who” you choose to service!! Our money is ALL...

This was my first time going to Thrive Juices. I LOOOVE fruits especially being from the Caribbean. I wanted to try one of the bowls. When I went up to the counter, the menu was on the wall okaaay. I asked the lady behind the counter, which one is good she looked at me like I was from Mars. I repeated myself, then she said " No English"...huh. I don't understand how no one speaks English living in the United States and serving customers. A gentleman came up behind the counter and he also didn't speak English very well. So me being nice, instead of walking away. I just pointed to what seemed to be good. I couldn't ask any questions because she/he wouldn't of understood me🤷🏽‍♀️ I ended up just getting the Glow up Bowl Acai. It was actually good! So I am not sure if I...

This place is located inside of Post Food Hall. Crowd and ambience varies depending on the time of the day, but nothing unusual. The Build Your Own option for the açaí bowl is a nice feature so I can customize my own combination of favorite fruits. Overall the bowl was a little underwhelming for the $18 price tag due to the attention to detail when making it. As shown in the picture, all of my plant protein was added as the first ingredient and was never mixed throughout the açaí base which was pretty disappointing and inconvenient. Besides that the flavor was great and I like the fact that raspberry was an option for fruit.

I ordered the Rocket Smoothie, it’s so nasty 😭. Bitter, the texture is extremely unappealing and has no sweetness at all. SMOOTHIE KING strawberry hulk is my go to by the deliver was $5 so I went with something cheaper. HUGE regret. My smoothie king smoothie is cheaper and it tastes better. This is seriously spit in a cup. It’s for palm colored people who lack taste and want to pretend their health. It’s not worth the price at all. The price is 100% to make someone feel like they’re better for having the funds to spend $10 on spit.
