I came to Wooster’s Garden the other day when I had a bad mood. It was a terrible day for me seeing one of my co-workers leaving the workplace. I came by myself and sat at the bar. However, Conner just made me feel happy and comfortable again. He’s super friendly, dedicated, and a friend to talk with. I started with Butterfliability. I gave this one 3/5 🌟I can’t taste anything but sourness in my mouth 🥹 The only plus point is the color and the decoration of the drink. After that, I got Sunkissed with 5/5 🌟 It was a little bit of everything to make this drink so impressive 🫶🏻 A little bit of sweetness, a little bit of sourness, and a little bit of bitterness. I love how they combine vodka and sparkling wine to make everything balanced. The Band Aid got 4/5 🌟 It was something that safe to get if you don’t know what to get. It was not bad, but not too impressive at the same time. Last but not least, I got my most favorite one throughout the night: Friendzone with 5/5 🌟 I can say this is one of the best cocktails that I have ever had in my entire life! It was a perfect combination of cherries & berries family, and citrus fruits. I can’t even taste alcohol but the aroma is extremely attractive. Highly recommend for those who love fruity cocktail! Overall, Wooster’s Garden can be your favorite cocktail place in Houston with the wide selections and the best customer service. Check it out asap!!

So I came here invited by a group of my fellow friends one night couple weeks back to celebrate Cinco De Mayo 2019 at around 10/11pm. I was noticing how the exterior was stunning with the rustic furniture and the dim lit patio which made the night glow. As we approached the bar I see that it does have some clientele so we await our turn to order our drinks. Of course, we get carded for our ordered drinks but no worries, we are always ready to comply with a friendly smile. The bartender, who was a tall gentleman with glasses that kept giving us side looks, because of our order or for some odd reason. We left our tab open and as I tipped him $5 I told him, “thank you for our drinks” even though of the looks he gave us that kinda made us uncomfortable. We walked toward our group to converse and chit chat or a few and decided to order food. Our group decided that snacks menu was the best appetite at the time with our drinks. We walked back to the bar and asked. He blatantly said, kitchen closed already, which I was sad about, but it was cool. We wished we would of known earlier, so we closed our tabs but had to wait a long time to even get noticed to even do that and there wasn’t much clients around for us to wait as long as we did. We went to Pluckers thereafter. 3 stars was for the scenery. That’s about it.

Dear owners (Jeff & Andy)

I normally do not leave a review but this incident needs some attention.

Came to this resturant with some friends on Tuesday night (Dec 28, 2021) and was absolutely discriminated against by Alex the bar tender. First off, upon ordering, my friend's card was charged for an order from another customer. We were informed that the charge would be refunded but we waited a while for the drinks to be made.

The major issue came when we were informed that the restaurant was closing and we had to leave immediately. We said ok and worked on finishing our drinks to depart. Not even 10 seconds into finishing our drinking, Alex proceeded to state again we had to leave immediately and stood there staring in our faces not even giving us time. We realized that we were not the only ones left but were the main ones being threaten to leave and he chose to continuously antagonise us to leave. There were other non black individuals still at the bar who were finishing their drinks and was not even told to leave immediately. As we informed Alex about the difference in treatment he proceed to quickly inform those individuals but came right back to us and proceeded to argue with us about leaving again. It was clearly a difference in treatment.

He was rude, very disrespectful and really needs more training on customer service and discriminatory practices. In the height of all that is going on, employee trainings in this area should be a top priority! He was very rude, and I really hope he receives some lessons and training on how to communicate from a non bias stand point to...

beware of racism Service was super rude to me and my friends. I normally never post reviews (in fact this is my first google review) but I was shocked by how terrible the service was. I have had some good experiences here previously (my friends frequently go to happy hour there) but at my last visit, after making me wait for over 15 minutes to order my drink from the counter (literally ignoring me while I waited at the counter), the bar staff harassed my friend. My friend's ID was expired, and she said (literally quoting verbatim): "Even though you are of age, you need to leave because you can't have alcohol near you." She suggested my 25 year old friend wait in the car or around the corner while we had our drinks! I actually couldn't believe how crazy that was. The establishment serves food! There are plenty of minors that are present in there regularly! The bartender was so petty and rude lol. My friend thought that she was discriminating against her because of her race. I don't how else to explain the inconsistent treatment. It was very odd and off-putting as I have never been treated so rudely before there and I'm white. It was super embarrassing because my friend hadn't been to Houston before and I was trying to tell her how nice and accepting people are here. Permanently lost my business. Have told my other friends to beware of the nasty (and racist)...
