AVOID THIS LOCATION!! TERRIBLE SERVICE and sub-par standards. I ordered takeout on their mobile app and the pick-up time was 4:01 pm. I got to the location and sat for 20 minutes and waited, because they forgot to put my order out on the pickup shelf. They had only put my smoothie out. No one greeted me, spoke to me, or would even make eye contact with me the entire time I waited. I finally looked behind their counter and saw a bag that I’d assumed might have my food in it and asked if it was my order. Sure enough it was, but they’d set it aside on a table and forgotten it completely. I had to practically yell at them to even get their attention, but everyone else in the store was being greeted and catered to. It was like I was invisible. I don’t have any reason to honestly believe this was personal, but they personally made me not want to give them my business ever again. There was no apology from the worker that gave me my food. They acted like it didn’t matter.
I ordered the 3-cheese quesadilla with chicken and there’s an entire side of the quesadilla that doesn’t have any chicken on it at all. Also, I got the banana chai smoothie and it had a bunch of unchewable hard pieces in it. These are items I regularly get from this location and I’ve never had this kind of experience before. I love tropical smoothie cafe, but this was a wack experience all around. This all happened today, the day I’m posting this, for anyone in management, or corporate, that hopefully sees this. I placed my order on June 13th, at 3:46 pm and was supposed to have...

Ordered a flatbread with grilled chicken, bacon and “smashed” avocado. Received a lukewarm, flatbread with 1 small strip of chicken that was torn in half, 1 tiny strip of pre-cooked bacon torn in half, extremely salty pre-made avocado-like spread and 1 tiny slice of tomato. It was the biggest ripoff. I expected a nice, fresh, grilled chicken wrap with a few slices of chicken and fresh avocado since they boast their restaurant as “healthy”! Super salty, fake avocado spread is not “smashed avocado”!!! It was $6 for the wrap and was worth $2. The smoothies are $5 so if you get a smoothie and wrap you’re at $10 for a tiny, empty wrap and a smoothie that tastes like what you make at home. If you get one of their more expensive menu items you’re close to $15.00 for a meal at a lunch type spot. I have waited months for this location to open and have been so excited to try it and I hate that I left there feeling so disappointed! I expected it to be a little pricey and don’t mind paying more for quality, fresh ingredients, because you get what you pay for but here you don’t get what you pay for. They have so much potential but cutting corners...
Read moreDo not recommend tropical smoothie place in Hurst, TX. Unfortunately it’s the closest one to my home and both time I have had to buy from the afternoon night shift the food is not prepared correctly and smoothie is tasteless. I first started purchasing at the TS by my workplace in Arlington, Texas. The service and the food was way different but now I find out it’s a different franchise that explains it. The luck I’ve had with the employees especially the second shift has zero customer service skills or I’m not sure if management just hires people With zero customer service I had to return a wrap that I purchased Because the taste was off, I went ahead and took my smoothie because it was possible and now the manager John tells me that they do not issue refunds, even though this rap is not made the way I’m used to getting it from another tropical smoothie place. The receipt does not specify anywhere that they will not give you a refund yet he fell to give me a refund. He said he is not allowed to unless the order was wrong, but that’s even worse because the product I ordered was not what I expected and comparison to the other tropical smoothies I’ve been to this...
