8/15/24 PF Chang’s I cannot put into words what a wonderful time we had! First of all, Janice our server, was the most wonderful and precious person ever. She greeted us and immediately I knew this was going to be a great occasion. We came tonight because we saw PF Chang’s ad on Facebook and we signed right up for the Chang Rewards. We came tonight to start celebrating my Husband’s Birthday! Janice helped us decide what to eat. We used to come all the time when I worked down the street, but that had been 20+ years ago. I remembered that the Mongolian Beef was my favorite back then so I ordered it tonight and my husband ordered Sesame Chicken. Janice walked us through ordering from the Chef’s Feast Menu. There was going to be a ton of food, but we know how to take home leftovers! I chose the salad and Phil chose the Hot And Sour Soup. For an Appetizer I decided we were having the Crispy Green Beans, they are my favorite! So soon the soup and salad were brought out. My favorite wonton strips were in the salad and Phil ate all of his soup! Then the most wonderful Crispy Green Beans came out and oh, my! They were so good! Then Janice brought us our entrees! My Mongolian Beef was beautiful and was the most tender beef cut up into perfect bite sized pieces. I had Water Chestnuts added and the Sweet Soy Glaze Sauce on my Beef was wonderful! Phil said his Sesame Chicken was the best he ever had! We couldn’t finish our meals because Janice had promised Phil a slice of cake for his birthday. They had 2 types of dessert lists: the ones on the Chef’s Feast List which were smaller desserts (Key Lime Pie, Red Velvet Cake, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cream Pie) then the regular desserts were full sized. The choices were The Great Wall of Chocolate, 6 layers of cake with a chocolate icing and mini chocolate chips on the top. It came with Strawberries and Strawberry sauce. There was a New York Style Cheesecake, Chocolate Soufflé, and Banana Spring Rolls. Phil chose the Great Wall of Chocolate! He loved it but he was only able to eat 1 layer! We really had a perfect time. The inside of the restaurant was so beautiful and the outside of PF Chang’s has the 2 horses at the entrance! It’s a special place.

Read moreFlat out horrible service but it only gets worse. I had my 19th birthday party last weekend (the 10th) at P.F. Chang's and I couldn't regret it more. The customer service was horrible. We didn't receive enough straws for everyone in our party to use for their drinks (there was 15 of us) and as the waiter kept bring out more refills he let all our empty cups pill up on the table. I couldn't even eat my food without almost knocking an empty cup over. After we got our drinks it took another 30-40 minutes to even order our food. When we received our appetizers multiple people in my party, including myself, had to ask multiple times if our waiter could bring us our silverware so that we could eat our food. We finally received our silverware AFTER our ENTREES had ALREADY ARRIVED. That was unacceptable. To add on when we finally received our checks many people in my party complained about being charged for food and drinks that they did not order. Which he took his sweet time to change for them. I personally had to ASK for my BIRTHDAY DESSERT which he didn't bring out to me until after everyone had already paid for their meals. Which is so disrespectful since I booked my reservation 2 weeks in advance and they knew it was my birthday. After I ate my dessert I felt extremely rushed and pressured to leave and because of that I accidentally left my birthday cards filled with Starbucks Gift Cards on the table. I tried calling the restaurant once I realized my mistake but was sent to voicemail even though it was only 10 minutes after they had closed. I called the next day after they opened to see if my Birthday Cards and Gift Cards were there. They told me they did not see them in lost and found but would ask my waiter about it once he came into work later that day and said they'd give me a call back. I never got a call back. I called again 2 more times the following days after my birthday party and was told the same thing with no clarity as to what happened to my birthday cards. So either my waiter or table busier or whoever STOLE my BIRTHDAY CARDS WITH MY GIFT CARDS INSIDE or THREW THEM AWAY. I honestly don't know which option is worse. After the horrible customer service I received and my birthday cards either being STOLEN or THROWN AWAY I will not be coming back to this...
Read moreWe were huge fans of this place about 12yrs ago. My wife and I didn't have much money when we started out, so this place being higher than average was a treat to us, but it was always worth it. The last few years we've seen Chang's change and struggle some, but we've had some good experiences too. Tonight was my last chance. I drove past where I wanted to eat to go to Changs because they sent a "We miss you, here's 10% off" email. The $5 discount is a lot, but the email worked and gave us a reason to go. We got the Chef's Feast and I paid $5 more to get the Changs spicy chicken. The portion was tiny, it was almost kids meal sized. I questioned it when the waiter came and he said it's smaller because it's the "Chefs feast". Weird, because I paid $5 more for it. I go to pay and the server couldn't figure out the 10% email and he told me it's because we ate the Chefs Feast. I laughed because that's just ridiculous and I told him to run my card, no argument.
The manager comes by to ask how everything was and I calmly told her about the small portion and the email that didn't work. She looked at us (my wife and I) amd walked away. Not a single word was said.
We eat out several times a week. We're not restaurant rookies.... I never complain, but I cant imagine a manager rudely walking away like that.
My small portion was very tasty, the app was tasty, the diet coke tasted flat. I shouldn't spend $65 for 2 people and leave hungry! Whoever reads this, these are reasons why the restaurant was 15% full on a Friday at 630pm.
I tried for years, but the manager today ensured me that giving up on Changs is the right thing to do. Please don't ask me to email you for a gift card or something to make it right, show this to the manager and tell her that's why her store is struggling. Middle aged white woman who had a bright pink shirt. Probably 35 to 40yrs old, blondish hair and glasses. She didn't say 1 word, just walked away. Give her that gift card so she can order a small plate...
