We don't order out for pizza often. However, Lil Ceasars has always been a legit preference.
Sadly, that's all over now. Over the years we've given up on certain restaurants due to certain behaviors/poor service when ordering.
We are all human and not without error. So when items are forgotten in a food order, this is likely not an intentional act. It's very annoying, but accidents happen. Once we've paid for an order the trust that every detail is maintained rests with the restaurants and the delivery drivers. When both entities fail to meet basic expectations, that can raise the level of frustrations.
Upon discovering that there was a missing item, we first addressed this with the individual who picked up/delivered the order. Sadly, the driver wasn't able to return to Lil Ceasars due to other orders needing to be dropped off. So, we called them directly and was informed that if we came in with our receipt we'd be given the missing item.
Without any verbal or physical attitude, we complied. However, upon arriving....and showing proof, a single comment was shared from a staff member that "most people just do the refund." No apology for the inconvenience, just some BS comment. Who cares what most people do? We ordered food and a beverage to go alongside our food. If we ONLY wanted/needed the food, we wouldn't have added a drink to the order. š¤
My husband took the drink (after the comment was made) and didn't give a response to the ignorant comment. He just walked out in silence.
We spend our money, tip, and aren't even given the basic courtesy of expecting to get ALL of the items we ordered. It was a date night and that is why we ordered in. No driving was desired, but ultimately happened. We weren't even openly angry about this because mistakes do happen, which doesn't warrant out of pocket behavior.
Idk what's happened to the quality of service. Times are hard and eating out tends to get the backseat. Sometimes, you just want to treat yourself. A very simple mistake can be overlooked, but unnecessary BS is a bit much. We didn't pay for that.

Saw 2 workers there, looked like a third might be in the back. it seemed they had been having a chat that stopped when I came in, which is fine with me, since I used to do the same on slow nights where I worked. One of the men, long hair and a goatee, walked out and asked what they could do for me. I asked if I could get an extra most bestest, he responded: "We don't have any." I said that's fine and then asked if I could have a hot-and-ready then instead. His response was an annoyed: "Sure, I guess." At that point I told him "Cancel the order, since it's clear I'm such an inconvenience to you this evening. I can go elsewhere in town for food if this is how it is here." He gave a very apathetic "Sorry about that."
In addition to losing me last night, I also redirected a man walking in as I was walking out, suggesting he try somewhere else for dinner since it seemed the Little Caesars' staff didn't want to be inconvenienced by customers.

I asked again if it was ready, and they said it still wasn't. So I waited another 20 minutes. Finally I asked again, and they responded by saying there was no doordash order AT ALL. I told them there definitely was, and to check again. So they went and got the manager. The manager promptly goes to back and returns with my order, which had been done the ENTIRE 40 minutes I waited there. So he tries to send me off with it, not realizing there is absolutely no sauce on the chicken wings.... So I get them to fix this, and in my frustration, I leave to deliver the order which is now over 20 minutes late. Of course, Come to find out, they also forgot to give me the litre of soda!
