Cosmic Cardinal Cafe — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I’ve had the opportunity to eat at the cafe a few times now, and I have never been disappointed! It has all been so delicious. I’ve had the CBR (Chicken, Bacon, Ranch) and the Green Eggs and Ham crepes, and they are so good and filling. I’ve also had different pastries in the rotating case, like the cosmic brownie, lemon blueberry cookie, strawberry, cardamom glazed scone, and they were all sooo good! Also the soups are amazing too!

The cafe does a great job of highlighting and using local products and ingredients on the menu, and make a warm, welcoming space with local artwork and plants.

Street Parking. Wanted something different and new and was not disappointed. It’s inside an office building. When inside I walked to the end of the hallway and made a left. Ordered a breakfast sammie with chicken sausage. Having a chicken option for sausage won me over. Seeing that the Sammie is made with sidedoor bagels was the icing long on the cake. Tinker coffee and I was happy to know I’m supporting local.

The sammie was good and filling. The coffee was hot and the service was excellent. The owner was talking to regulars and knew them by name. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers.

Top tier biscuits and gravy, absolutely hit the spot! The gal that helped us was incredibly friendly to everyone that came in. Great service, great breakfast! Buddies sandwich looked awesome too and the bread was super fresh and loaded up. Great value! Do yourself a favor and find this place if you're in downtown Indianapolis.
