I wanted to take my Brother to Hooters for his first time at one, so we went there before the 2023 Big Ten Championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium. When we got there, the place was packed with the whole waiting area packed with people too, some saying they were waiting an hour or more. Of course this was around 4pm when we got there so not many waitresses were there yet. In a very professional and calm manner, the Manager was there the whole hour that we waited there and resolved the pure chaos that was going on with people continuously piling in while Hooters being short staffed at the time. He also threw in some light humor a couple of times to help lighten up the vibe of us waiting a long time haha. He was a great guy and I could tell he’s a great leader of all that staff there. We finally got seated, which we were fine with the hour wait and understood the situation at the time. We could tell our waitress was having an off day or something, and we felt bad. We all have our days, so we understood and carried on with ourselves. But the other waitresses that interacted with us were genuinely friendly, including the one pictured with me (I never got her name, but she was still really nice with how busy it was in there). Finally, the food was absolutely delicious! My Brother had the Mozzarella Sticks, and I had the Cheeseburger with Curly Fries. I always get a burger everywhere I go, and that was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It was juicy, it had a perfect flavor with the amount of seasoning to it, and the bun was soft and warm too. The Curly Fries were perfectly seasoned and hot when the food came out also. Bravo to the cook(s) and the cook that helped bring out our food to us! Overall, it was a very great experience even with the long wait that wasn’t Hooter’s fault, honestly. Downtown Indy Hooters has a great team there, and thanks again ladies and guys if you’re reading this! Keep it up!!

We have gone to Hooters downtown Indy for several years with the PMD guys. Generally we celebrate a birthday or 2 & do some pics. We are always greeted by the manager who remembers our group & the waitresses are always so kind to the guys. Don't know what happened this year, we were a party of 12, with only 3 in wheelchairs. Our waitress was very nice, but new. Drink order was very slow to come out. Obviously the bartender was also new, drinks came without garnishes, when we asked especially for the garnishes for the loaded Bloody Marys, they sent them over on a plate for one but never came out at all for the other. They didn't have ice cream for a Mudslide, but never offered to get another drink for that person... Our waiteress couldn't find help to bring out the drinks so she was doing 2 at a time... obviously a result of her inexperience. Food was also delayed, over 50 minutes & we shared meals so we basically only had 7 orders. Apparently when putting in our groups "large order" the computer wiped it all out & it had to be reentered. We told her about wanting to do pics with the guys & she said she had asked her coworkers but they told her they were all busy working on their tables tickets but said when they finished they would come over. No one helped her bring out the food, seemed like they were deliberately avoiding helping her, there were only 5 or 6 other people in the whole place besides us. The manager helped her with our bills, but they were all scrambled, so he helped her get them straightened out, but he never attempted to greet us or offer any apologies. We finally caught 3 of the other waitresses standing nearby & asked if they would come over for pics, which they kindly did. The PMD guys had a great time so that is what was important, but service left much to be desired...

Went in for lunch, or at least I'd hoped to eat. Was greeted at the bar and served a beer. There was only one other customer there. The bartender proceeded to go across the room, stand on a table, and braid a co-workers hair. 10 minutes go by, still braiding. 15, still braiding. 20, beer's empty now and she's still braiding. After 25 minutes I have to get up and walk over to her in her little restaurant hair salon and ask if I can pay my tab and leave. Walked to Yard House a block away and got some delicious wings from attentive staff. See attached photo of braiding operation. Gross. Hooters has apparently closed 41 restaurants this year alone, and it's no wonder. Nobody seems to give a hoot, I could see the manager behind glass pecking away at her computer, indeed.com no doubt. It'snot surprising that it's so dead in there. Won't be back to any, ever. I've never been treated poorly at Twin Peaks. Update: The owner seems to like to respond to reviews in a way that makes people think they care, but when you follow their link to "connect" nothing happens. It's just a sad attempt to mitigate all of their bad reviews. Second update: BANKRUPTCY!!! 🤣🤣🤣

I have been to many Hooters before and never had an experience like today. This was my first time at this location. We came in and waited to be seated. There were maybe 4 total parties there. It was dead. We were finally set at our table. 15 minutes go by and no one took our drink order, so my friend went to the bar to get our Pepsis. On her way back, she asked who our server was. The girl who sat us, said oh that's my table, I will be there shortly to take your order. Ok...you seated us, but didn't realize you sat us in your section? Ok. She comes over after another 5 minutes and asks are we ready to order. We placed our order and the food came out pretty quickly. We weren't given any silverware and had to request it. The chicken was good. Our sides were not the greatest. We were never asked if we needed refills or anything else after we got our food. My friend had to stop the server to ask for our bill and boxes. We get the bill, no boxes. Had to ask again for boxes. I don't know if the lack of customer service was due to us being women or what, but we have never had problems at other locations. We also witnessed someone who was waiting on a scheduled job interview. As I said, it was hardly no one there. Someone who worked there walked by and stated that they were extremely busy and she would have to wait. It was very unprofessional and rude for someone to have to wait for a job interview that was scheduled, due to them being SO busy, when there was literally less than 10 people in the entire place. I will not go back to...
