Day 2 of my stay, still working on my review. Taking notes and pictures. Here's one to start. Day 4 CHECKOUT This should have some helpful info! So, want to mask in a city that's oversized and D tier conventions? Here's how to check put of Hyatt. First find the stairway S1 on your floor. Congestion is the major hurdles and stairway use is discouraged by design. On your way down, you will be walking right past countless people crammed into elevators and hallways trying to deal with unpreventable annual equipment failures like elevators that dont take to your floor but all over the range of floors until the right keyboard works on allowing you to use the elevator. It would be nice if the stairway S1 opened onto the 2nd floor. That door is always noisy but has several warning signs about alarms if opened. Instead we go down to street level. I open the collapsible wagon I carried down, and put my luggage into the wagon. Wheel out the exit only door. Go into the builsing on floor 1. Close the wagon. Haul everyone up the stairs. Hyperventilate in my mask. Wait to be seen. Jordan hovers around uselessly. I make eye contact to let her know I see her. Check out person made me repeat myself a lot. Got receipt. Wagon out of the way of the check out mob. Collapse wagon. Carry everything down the steps to first floor, and finally I can say I hope I never return to this hotel again. Photos to come.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days in standard guest rooms. The rooms were very clean and spacious, but only negative things was the cleaning service. They had mentioned that they would come to clean every second day of our stay. We put a notice that we did not want cleaning on the second day, but we expected them to clean on the fourth day, and they did not come. Regarding breakfast , it was good with a variety of food such as cereal, coffee, scrambled eggs, tortilla, French toast, pork sausages, etc. However, there was a time when we had to wait for forks and spoons, and some food was missing, such as fruits in the final hour of breakfast. Other than that, it was really good, and we had a pleasant stay at the hotel with very friendly staff.

Vandalism by hotel. I parked my car on Sat night (8pm) at one of the parking spots in front of the hotel. I checked to make sure there were no 'valet-only' or 'tow-away' or 'no- parking' signs. I come back after 45 mins to see this sticker on both front windows. If I was illegally parked, the cop parked next to me would have given me a ticket, no? This is bullying and vandalism of personal property. Hotel response to this review (which now seems to have been removed) said I should have 'assumed' it was loading zone and should not have parked. Assumption is not law. It's too bad because we always prefer to stay at Hyatt when we travel. Next time, I will file police report for vandalism.

We had two rooms at the Hyatt House. Both were identical but mirror imaged. "One bed kitchen suite w/city view". Rooms were nice enough. Full size fridge, 2 burners, Sink, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine. Both rooms were very clean and showed minimal signs of wear. Couch was comfy and had some pillows and footstools. View of the city was as good as a view of the city is. Can't really blame the hotel too much for that. 12th floor of 15.

2 of 4 elevators were running. Short delays at prime check-in time. Not really too bad though.

We went up to the "heated pool". I'm sure it was heated to some degree as it was -5 outside and the pool was not iced over but the water was too cold for me to swim. My 5 yr old grandson was able to swim. I just could not handle it. I do not know if there was an issue or if the pool is normally that cold. I feel like it could have been at least closer to body temperature. It was advertised as heated. We did mention it to the maid who was bringing in fresh towels. She did call down and report it. I know as I called down later and they said it was reported. A check next morning suggested it was a cold as the night before.

Room Service was utilized by more than one and each order was delivered timely. THAT is a change from a lot of places I've stayed. The food was quite good as well.

Later in the evening I got heartburn. Granted, this was entirely on me :-) However, when I went down to the mini-mart that most hotels have there was absolutly nothing for heartburn. I feel like that should have been available. Generally when I travel TUMS or something is sold. Other aid items were available.

I certainly would have slept MUCH better if I could have treated the heartburn. I know as my wife slept just fine.

Overall, a pretty good experience. Really a great place to stay if you are attending an event at the fieldhouse across the street. Even in the cold the walk...

I really wanted this to be a great stay. Parking is only available through valet for 40 a night, paper towel roll was from previous guest with food all over it, day shift great night shift rude, included breakfast was average hotel breakfast cereal, processed eggs, toast, etc, nothing was stocked waited for towels for the pool for 40 mins (we were ready to get out but were freezing) I’m not sure if it was due to me staying during the new year or if it’s typically like this, but I’ve had better stays. However room design and shower was beautiful

UPDATE I was charged an additional $200 after this review for a $150 room totaling $350 for one night after they responded to this review. I was told upon check in to not have a party of more than 4 people due to covid or I would be asked to leave without refund. My stay consisted of myself and 3 of my small daughters (who were sleep by midnight) and no additional guest (their cameras can prove it) they're were no holes no ripped sheets no damage for the few hours we stayed in that dirty room that wasn't cleaned from the previous guest. After calling and speaking to assistant gm matthew who was rude and told me that I signed a paper stating I couldn't have a party (which I didn't) so it doesn't matter what the front desk neglected to tell me, I asked to speak to his boss and after hesitantly replying that he owns the hotel I was given corporates number who is now handling the issue. Im not sure about the other locations, but I believe the lack of customer service, honesty, and integrity could be due to...

Do not come here if you want to sleep through the night.

It is currently a Saturday night at 3 am and there is loud street racing happening outside the hotel. According to the man at the front desk, this typically happens on Friday and Saturday nights. Cars are revving extremely loudly and loud music is playing. We are on the 9th floor.

Hotel staff said they called the police non emergency line at 1130 but nothing has changed

Hotel staff also said that usually they'd let us move rooms but their "systems are down." So they literally offered no solution.

While I appreciate that this situation is out of the hotel's control, this seems to be a recurring problem. The hotel should warn guests about the issue at a minimum, because I definitely would not have booked this hotel had I known we wouldn't sleep at all. And the hotel's system should not be "down" for hours and make moving rooms impossible.

Otherwise rooms are decent and clean. Parking is relatively easy.

Update: We also stayed Sunday night. We were in Room 903. I hadn't noticed the night before because of the street noise, but this room is also next to the utilities on top of an adjacent building which are really loud. At night, something was booming/buzzing all night.

I will also say the beds are really uncomfortable. I love a soft bed and I'm a small person, but these beds were too soft even for me. For someone who weighed more or generally needs more support, they would be very uncomfortable.

All in all, a very...
