9 months ago I visted here for the first time today. I decided to get the brown sugar milk tea with oreo & milk foam. It was pretty good. I will say the tea was a bit on the pricier side ($7.09 after tax), but they did give me a LARGE cup. I feel like the price was justified, for that reason. Also the lady who rung me up was super nice and easy to talk to. I also think the location of this place is good, because T swirl Crepe is around the corner, and nothing pairs better with bubble tea like a crepe.š
Recent update When Koko Tea first opened up, I felt like they were a really good bubble tea shop. However, ever since their menu changed, I feel like their quality has really gone downhill. For one thing, they got rid of the brown sugar milk tea with Oreo and milk foam. I thought that was one of their best drinks personally. Also, they got rid of the mango fresh milk tea and the strawberry fresh milk tea. The reason I loved them so much was because it was made with real fruit puree. It made all the difference! Now they use a lower quality powder milk tea formula that just doesn't cut it.šš½ If y'all want some good milk tea, I recommend checking out Moar Tea & Poke or Latea Bubble Tea Lounge...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTea was fine, got the earl grey milk tea and mango with fresh milk. Way overpriced in my opinion - $6.81 for a small regular milk tea with boba? There were no options on the menu I saw that were less than $6, with boba added for an extra $1 (Iād recommend latea and moar tea on mass Ave which have better tea for less). Also only sell water in bottles for $3, which is a little stingy as well. When I asked if I could adjust my order while it was being made, the employee said it was probably too late to do so, and Iām still unsure of if the change was made or not. Most places would usually offer to remake the order or at least clarify what they were going to do. They seemed pretty young and I know the place is new so it makes sense why it wouldnāt be the best customer service. Looks like theyāre open late which is nice I guess, but wouldnāt come back here anyway since I have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCute place! Let me preface this with that their drinks are VERY sweet. It is straight up dessert. If you don't like that in a bubble tea, DON'T come here, you will be wasting your money. I've been around 3-4 times. I wish they had punch cards like they do at Bobalicious in the mall - which I much prefer over KOKO as well, not gonna lie. KOKO is good for grab and go boba, but the counter at the window is also an option for a short time. Expensive because of the location, so prepare to pay up to $9 or so. If you're looking for something very sweet, get the brown sugar milk tea! If you want something refreshing, strawberry green tea with kiwi boba or a grapefruit slushy is great...
