Wendy's — Restaurant in Jackson

Worst Wendy's experience of our life. It was 7pm in Jackson, Wyoming. When we went in we tried to use the kiosk to order but it wouldn't accept our order. So...we moved to the counter where we were told by a very young Mexican teenager who could barely speak English! Since I am from Texas I could speak Spanish. We tried to order for at the register for 15 minutes and he kept telling us after each number he called out that it would be a second. Finally he took our order...Jr. bacon cheeseburger with mustard only...which was confusing to him...I told him no veggies, meat, bacon, mustard bread. Small fry. Sm dr. Pepper. My husband got Dave Burger with no lettuce combo sm Diet Coke.

The Diet Coke machine was out...sooo...when you go to the register you are immediately put back into the 15 minute wait que to be able to say the drink machine is broken could they give you your Diet Coke..it will be a second as he waits on many other customers.

We get our orders. It's been a long time since I ordered a jr. Bacon cheeseburger...to my shock the patty was no joke a 3"x3" sq patty, 1 3"x2" piece of cheese and lettuce no mustard. I take the lettuce off and my husband goes to the register and tells him that my hamburger was dry...no mustard and could he have a packet of mustard. After 10 minutes my husband is still up there and being told of all the more "seconds" he will have to wait and that he will have to pay for the mustard! My husband said the mustard was supposed to come on my hamburger! I finally had enough and went up there interrupted that my food was getting cold! The young man said just a second and I told him all 1 wanted was 1 packet of mustard that they had made my hamburger wrong to which he bent over and grabbed about 20 mustard packets and slammed them into my hand. 1 told him no I only needed 1. Everyone saw what he did...people were coming up up to me telling me that the store was taking advantage of people because it was a tourist trap and they didn't have to worry about you coming back! My husband's burger was wrong too! Our friends ordered a baked potato. After 10 minutes they called her back up to say they were out of baked potatoes. She ordered a taco salad instead. What they gave her later was a chef salad....which she doesn't like. I was standing at the register when she asked for the taco salad...she took it back up to the register and told them she didn't order a chef salad..."you will have to wait a second" which really means you mean nothing to us...wait over there in that corner and when I am finished joking around with my friends I will tell them they screwed up and give the whiney lady a taco salad. The woman preparing food had to ask another hispanic woman what was in a taco salad...the woman told her lettuce, queso and chili....15 minutes later they call her number.

WHAT A RUDE, UNORGANIZED, THIRD WORLD EXPERIENCE IN JACKSON WYOMING! No apology...nothing...we were the oddities. Shame on...

The food at this location is usually hit or miss. Tonight was a miss. I got the new pineapple frosty, and it was not mixed at all. The pineapple syrup was at the bottom of the cup and just vanilla frosty on top (not a HUGE deal. I just stirred it up) it tasted great after a little mix. What made this experience unappealing was the attitude of the gentleman at the counter. He was obviously irritated by my order and was slamming my food into the bottom of the bag. He was incredibly rude to a young Hispanic girl who was picking up her order. He asked if she had already received her cup for her meal, and she stated no, she had not. He continued to stock and get ready to close the lobby and the young lady stood there for a few moments until politely asking for her drink cup that he didn't furnish when she told him she didn't receive it at first. The older man snapped at her and said, "That's what I asked you in the first place!" The young woman looked like she was about to cry as she walked away from the counter. There is more to this story that I feel should not be posted on Google, but there were racially driven undertones. I felt bad for the young woman working the cash register as he scolded and spoke down to her.

As it pertains to the rest of my food, my burgers, fries, and chili were great. The strawberry lemonades (I bought 2) were not requested with no ice but that is how we got them and they were room temp to mildly cool. I was too afraid to cross the man at the counter to ask for new ones with ice as it seems mine were not made fresh... very disappointed that this is the experience had at the Jackson Hole, WY location. I don't think I will ever patron this location again. Wendy's should get their employee some HR time and help this team decompress from the verbal abuse this older man was giving.

While making my order at the kiosk, which did not print the order receipt, a man brought in his receipt and advised that he had not received one sandwich and one other item from his order. The manager came to the register and acused him of lying when he told her that he had realized the omission until he arrived home and had left the bag as it has his wife's food, but not his, so she was estingwhile her food was still warm. The manager tried to say that since he had not brought the bag back that he was lying. (Even though he had the receipt) I have never seen a situation where a bag that doesn't contain the item toy did not receive proves over a receipt your purchase!? After the man made a scene and demanded his food or a refund for the items not received, the manager made the sandwich.

I had ordered to go from the kiosk as the employees standing around would not offer to take your order, and when I received my order, it was on a tray, not to go as ordered and it was also wrong. I asked the employee behind the counter about it being a to go order, and she just looked at me and made no change and when told the order was wrong before leaving the counter, she made changes to correct the order, but didn't make it ready to transport until I asked her for a drink carrier.

I have never witnessed such poor customer service anywhere, not just for myself, but more for the guy whose order was incorrect and brought a receipt and was called a liar!!

There are so many good places to ear in Jackson, but I cannot recommend this...
