Larry's Giant Subs — Restaurant in Jacksonville Beach

Excellent food! I frequent this establishment for lunch and it is consistent. The dining room is clean, the bathrooms are clean, and the staff are some of the friendliest you’ll find anywhere in jax beach. The tall brunette with glasses is very kind (I overheard her saying she’s moving back to Georgia 😩), the bright blonde haired woman and the brown haired male who is there almost daily for the morning/lunch shift are all SUPERSTARS with customer service. Give these guys a raise! Always a pleasant experience coming here and I would recommend the food to anyone looking for a quick bite...

The establishment is in some dispute with war with graffiti burger next door. The staff is well aware of the situation but isn't forward thinking enough to inform their guests. I received a 71 dollar ticket for parking in the plaza. The burger manager showed no concern but tried to shut me down when talking to her. So, they also got this review. The plaza has no signs at the interior parking, and unless you drive through the burger place, you'd have no idea. If there are signs at the edge of the lot, cars block them. The vendors WILL NOT YELL YOU , so avoid them...

My Corned Beef Reuben on rye was rather small. I paid $20 for the 12-inch, but it was just an average sized sandwich (See photo of half of it). The taste was okay, but not worth $20.

My wife had Jake's Hoagie on pita bread. The beef was chewy. The taste was rather bland. She only ate 3 bites.

We got sandwiches at this Larry's when we were at Jax Beach last fall, and they were better. I don't know what happened, but we were disappointed this time.
